Wee School
This class is intended to offer a stepping stone for kids that are ready for a little more independence, but maybe not full-blown preschool. It is also for parents who just need a moment to themselves to run to the grocery store, make some phone calls, or just stare off into the void without disruption. Our goal is to offer a calm and supportive environment that utilizes routine, warmth, and fun to help kids feel empowered to say goodbye to their grown ups for a short time. We will share an opening circle, several play stations, and a closing circle. There is no right or wrong way to transition into this class. If you do not feel ready to go, that is totally fine! If you want to rip off the bandaid, we can help support that as well. Come freshly pottied/changed and dressed for a mess.

Tinker Lab
This drop-off class gives elementary-aged kids (capable of using tools such as hot glue guns fairly independently,) the freedom to imagine, explore, and build in the Tinker Lab, our dedicated innovation space. Tucked away from the sensory and art studio, the Tinker Lab is a room filled with mostly recycled odds and ends to invite curiosity and spark creativity. What others might consider junk—bottle caps, packing materials, spools, sticks, fabric scraps, loose beads, cardboard, plastic packaging and more—we see as fuel for creation. We collect these treasures from the community (washed and ready to go!) to keep waste out of the landfill and inspire kids to see the creative potential in everything around them.
