Basic Ballet
Basic Ballet Curriculum Overview (Ages 8+)
Student Level & Age Group Ages 8+
Basic Ballet is a year-long course, divided into two semesters. Classes held once per week for a 45-minute class duration. At this level, students will development of core muscle groups and flexibility, gain an introductory knowledge of basic ballet history and terminology, and participate in recital performances.
Aspire Ballet Program:
Exam-based structure with independent syllabus influenced by the Vaganova method
Focus on steady progress and confidence-building
Emphasis on expressive movement, knowledge, flexibility, and strength
