Center Stage: Middle School Edition (6th-8th Grade)
Train like a pro with Stage Local's "Center Stage Class" exclusively for middle school students! In this class, students in 6th-8th grade will learn how to train like a pro and perform like a star. This course is a pre-professional level course for students ready to sharpen their craft and tackle more challenging material. Students will strengthen technique, artistry and confidence as performers!

Students in the Center Stage Performance Lab experience a mini rehearsal process that mirrors a real show environment. Students will audition for and rehearse ensemble and solo numbers; learn to take direction and collaborate; build stamina, focus, and professionalism; and perform a polished showcase featuring scenes and ensemble work.

This performance lab provides an in depth focus on ensemble performing for students seeking to earn a triple threat status. Students will learn a scene or song from a popular children's musica, develop simple blocking and choreography, build stage presence and confidence and perform.

With a focus on production and collaboration skills, the Spotlights Performance Lab is an intermediate level rehearsal environment culminating in a polished group performance. Students will rehearse ensemble numbers, explore costuming and staging, strengthen memorization and focus, and perform in the end-of-the year recital.
