Tues. Preschool Ballet
This early childhood dance program is a fun combination of creative ballet, dance and themes taught each month. We encourage exploration, social interaction, musicality and creativity along with fun! We also encourage self-care, positivity, and age-appropriate learning.
Dances are taught to encourage children to develop critical thinking, communication skills and independence which have a positive impact on their personal well-being. It is our hope that each little dancer comes away with a genuine love for dance and the world around them!
* Parents are asked to wait outside the classroom, and if after 4 consistent weeks of classes, a happy place is not found, we recommend you try our Tiny Toes Productions offered in the Summer.

Ballet 1
This class builds on more intricate ballet steps and movement with further individualized training. Barre work is introduced to aid in balance and strength. Musicality and multiple patterns are continually emphasized within the classroom. Themes are incorporated each month.
It is usually at this age when young dancers decide if they want to spread their wings and move to a more dedicated program to eventually earn their beloved pointe shoes at age 12. Love of both self and others is encouraged as spatial and social awareness plays into the excitement of dancing together as a cohesive unit. Positivity, energy, being present, and vulnerability are highly encouraged while learning the patient art of ballet.

Ballet 2
This class builds upon the previous technique taught in younger classes. However, one is never too late to begin ballet if passion and determination are within! Ballet technique becomes more technical, execution more detailed, and strengthening exercises are added to a mandated TWO days per week.
This twice-a-week class ensures greater muscle memory and a more delicate stage performance. Pre-Pointe conditioning and flexibility will grow as consistency is key to success! This intermediate level dancer will also learn more as each helps encourage younger dancers along.
Self-care is most important, positive affirmations are highly encouraged, and speaking well of others is the epitome of nurtured authenticity. It is our hope that this dancer will give place for positivity, energy, being present, and allowing vulnerability to help them excel while learning the patient art of ballet.

Ballet 3
Continuation of classical ballet technique, foot and ankle strengthening exercises, as well as pointe-work conditioning and flexibility exercises will be taught with the mandated TWO days per week classes. Pointe work is built upon a solid technique foundation and encouraged much more at this level. Instructor approval for pointe shoes is required and will be given once a dancer is deemed ready.
Self-care is also most important at this level and positive affirmations are highly encouraged, as is speaking well of others exuding the epitome of nurtured optimistic authenticity. It is our hope that our advanced dancers will give place for positivity, energy, being present, and allowing courageous vulnerability to help them excel while learning the patient art of ballet.
This more advanced dancer will have the opportunity to grow as they teach and nurture other little dancers along the way with each Stage production. We believe in having our older dancers mentor our younger dancers as they learn that a Stage production encircles the entire Twin Feathers Classical Ballet family. They do this best as they dance with the younger dancers in a full-stage production.
