Our Adult Ballet class welcomes dancers of all experience levels, from complete beginners to those returning to ballet after time away. Classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and musicality while learning and refining classical ballet technique in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether your goal is fitness, artistic expression, or simply the joy of dancing, this class offers a rewarding experience for every adult dancer.

(Ages 12 + By Instructor Approval Only)
Students are required to master 1st form prior to taking this 2nd form class. Tap 2A continues the progressive Stan Kahn curriculum by strengthening technical skills, rhythmic awareness, and musicality. Dancers will refine their technique, improve speed and coordination, and develop greater precision while learning more complex rhythms and combinations.

This class continues working towards mastery of 2nd form. Tap 2B emphasizes refinement of technique, clarity of sound, and increased rhythmic complexity. Students continue advancing through the Stan Kahn curriculum while developing greater control, confidence, and performance quality through progressively challenging combinations and exercises.

Ballet 3/Pointe
(By Instructor Approval Only)
Ballet 3 is designed for dancers who are ready to deepen their technical training and artistic expression. Students will continue building strength, flexibility, endurance, and precision while refining classical ballet technique, expanding vocabulary, and developing greater musicality and performance quality. Students will prepare for pointe, and will begin after approved by their instructor.
Students are required to take 2 classes weekly and are recommended to take Strengthening and Conditioning as well.

Ballroom 2
(Ages 14+ with 1-2 Years Ballroom Experience Required)
Ballroom 2 builds upon foundational partner dance skills while expanding students’ knowledge of ballroom technique, styles, and choreography. They will continue to grow in Foxtrot, Jitterbug, and Waltz, and also begin learning Tango. Dancers will continue developing lead and follow skills, musicality, timing, styling, and confidence while learning more complex patterns and combinations. This class encourages strong partnership, expressive movement, and a deeper appreciation for the artistry and connection of ballroom dance.

Baby Ballet
(Ages 3-5)
This class introduces littles to movement in a structured yet playful setting. Here they will improve gross motor skills, coordination, balance, rhythm, and listening skills while learning basic ballet positions and movements in an encouraging classroom environment.
*If your student turns 5 after September, register them for Baby Ballet. If they turn 5 before September, register them for Ballet 1A.*

This class builds on introductory ballet skills in a structured and encouraging environment. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment, movement quality, and a love for dance.
*If your student turns 5 after September, register them for Baby Ballet. If they turn 5 before September, register them for Ballet 1A.*

Ballet 1B expands upon foundational ballet technique while reinforcing proper alignment, coordination, strength, and musicality. Dancers will refine basic vocabulary, improve flexibility and balance, and gain confidence as they progress through more challenging combinations and classroom expectations.

Jazz 1B builds upon the foundational skills introduced in Jazz 1A while continuing to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and musicality. Students will expand their jazz vocabulary, refine technique, and explore performance quality through increasingly challenging combinations that encourage confidence, expression, and connection with an audience.
If your student is brand new to jazz, this class might be appropriate for them, even if they are above the recommended age range. Please contact us if you have questions.

Ballet 2A introduces dancers to more detailed technical concepts while continuing to strengthen the fundamentals of classical ballet. This class is designed for dancers with previous tap experience who are ready to strengthen their technical foundation and expand their rhythmic vocabulary. This class works on Stan Khann’s 2nd form and focuses on proper technique, timing, coordination, musicality, and clarity of sound in a welcoming and supportive environment.

This class introduces students to the foundational elements of theatrical jazz dance, including basic jazz technique, coordination, musicality, and performance skills. Dancers will learn fundamental movements, terminology, and combinations while developing confidence, expression, and an understanding of how movement can communicate character and story.

Students must be at least 5 years old when classes start in September.

This class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of tap through age-appropriate movement, music, and rhythm-based activities. Students develop coordination, balance, listening skills, and musicality while learning basic tap steps in a fun, encouraging environment that fosters confidence and a love of dance.

Theater Arts 1
(Ages 8-12)
These skill-building classes focus on helping students develop body awareness, voice control, storytelling abilities and dramatic improvisation. Throughout each semester, students progress to script analysis, character development, basic stagecraft (set, costume, makeup), and group scene work that culminates in a final performance.
We perform at least one full length, classic play each year, and students also participate in a Theater Arts Showcase where they present a variety of drama scenes and skits. Theater students will also have the opportunity to audition and perform theater roles for our annual dance recital in June.
It is a joy to watch students develop socially and emotionally each year through theater arts, and see their confidence soar and public speaking skills improve while they work together to bring a story to life on the stage!
This class will have 1-2 performance opportunities in the 2026-2027 season.

Tap 1A introduces students to the foundational concepts of the Stan Kahn tap curriculum. Students will officially begin learning 1st form in the spring semester, or when the instructor determines they are ready.

In this class, students learn 1st form of Stan Khann’s method. Tap 1B builds upon the fundamentals introduced in Tap 1A while reinforcing proper technique, rhythmic accuracy, and musicality. Students continue expanding their tap vocabulary and coordination through progressively challenging exercises and combinations that encourage clean, confident execution.
*If your student is within the age limit but has never taken tap classes prior, they may need to take a few private lessons to catch up to those who are in their second year of the class. Email us to determine placement.*

This class is designed to help dancers build the strength, flexibility, stability, and endurance needed to support healthy, efficient movement. Through targeted exercises focused on core strength, balance, mobility, and injury prevention, students will improve overall technique and body awareness while developing the physical foundation necessary for success in all styles of dance.

If you take any classes Level 2B+ in Ballet or Jazz, we recommend taking this class as well.
