Program Overview
Join guest instructor Nicole Riviere (Los Angeles) for four days of focused dance training and
creative exploration. Dancers will build strong technique, musicality, and performance skills
while learning a variety of jazz-based styles.
Classes throughout the week include:
• Ballet barre & stretch/conditioning
• Jazz technique
• Lyrical/contemporary jazz
• Stylized jazz
• Turns/progressions
• Hip-hop
Each day includes technique training, across-the-floor progressions, choreography, and dance
discussions focused on history, discipline, artistry and performance.
Tuition
Early Bird Tuition: $295
(Register by May 31)
Standard Tuition: $375
(June 1 and after)
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot and will be applied toward the
tuition balance.
Registration & Tuition Policies
Advanced registration is required. Nicole Riviere travels from Los Angeles, therefore minimum
enrollment must be met and tuition/refund policies must be followed to avoid disruptions to the
program.

Refund Policy
• Tuition fully refundable through May 31, minus the $50 deposit
• June 1–June 15: 50% refund minus the $50 deposit
• After June 15: Tuition is non-refundable

What to Bring / Dress Code
Please come prepared for a full day of dance.

Guest Instructor
Nicole Riviere
Nicole Riviere grew up in Depoe Bay, Oregon and began dancing at the age of five. She trained
with Teri Jernigan and Renee Taunton at Dance and All That Jazz before being accepted in 1997
into the prestigious EDGE Professional Scholarship Program in Hollywood, California. Under
the mentorship of program directors Bill Prudich and Randy Allaire, she continued her
professional training for the entertainment industry.
Nicole has worked with renowned choreographers including Ryan Heffington, Marguerite
Derricks, Fatima Robinson, Brian Friedman, and Hinton Battle. Her performance career spans
stage, television, music videos, and film.
Her credits include appearances on America’s Got Talent, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
with Justin Timberlake, How I Met Your Mother, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. She has performed in
projects with artists such as Death Cab for Cutie, Maná, Basement Jaxx, Elvis Costello, and
Charlotte Gainsbourg, and has appeared in commercial work for Nike, Wella/Sebastian, DSW
Shoes, and Harley-Davidson.
As an educator, Nicole brings her extensive professional background and love of movement into
every class, creating a supportive environment that encourages confidence, connection, and joy
in dance.

This beginner-friendly adult ballet barre class is designed for anyone who’s ever been curious about ballet. Each session begins with basic barre exercises—plies, tendus, degagés, rond de jambe, and simple balances—to develop strength, articulation, and stability. Upper level classes III and higher may register for one Technique class per week at this time. Through a blend of floor and barre work, stretching, and repetition of technical drills, students will improve their overall body awareness and refine the mechanics of their movements.
