Advanced Tap. All Ages. This high-energy class is designed for experienced tap dancers who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready to level up. Students will build speed, clarity, musicality, and complex rhythmic patterns while tackling advanced combinations and performance-driven choreography. Emphasis is placed on clean technique, articulation, timing, and style, with a strong focus on musical theatre tap. Placement is based on skill level to ensure dancers are challenged and supported as they push their tap to the next level. Performance showcases in December and May. Tap shoes required.

In musical theatre, dance isn’t optional—it’s the foundation. Dance for Musical Theater builds strength, flexibility, coordination, and stage presence while introducing students to the core movement styles used in Broadway shows—jazz, theater dance, character work, and storytelling through motion. Whether your child has years of dance training or is stepping into the studio for the first time, this class meets them where they are and helps them grow.

Group Voice, Grades 4-6: Find your voice and let it shine! In this fun and focused class, students build essential vocal skills in a supportive group setting. Young singers will learn proper breathing, pitch control, vocal placement, and tone—all while exploring age-appropriate songs from musical theatre and beyond. The semester ends with a casual friends and family performance in December and May, giving students the chance to showcase their progress and celebrate their growth on stage. Whether they're brand new to voice lessons or already love to sing, Group Voice gives them the tools to sing out with confidence—and have a blast doing it!

IMPROV! 12yrs + Welcome to the wacky world of Improv, where the only rule is to have fun! In this class, performers dive into spontaneous storytelling, zany characters, and hilarious games that spark creativity and laughter. Kids will learn that flubbed lines and unexpected twists are the secret sauce to great scenes and stronger stage presence. Leading the fun is the one and only Zach Coder—a seasoned improv pro with a gift for turning awkward into awesome. With years of experience in improvisational comedy and youth performance, Zach brings out the best in every student, helping them build confidence, teamwork, and quick-thinking skills in a supportive, high-energy environment. Designed for dedicated young performers with standout skills in singing, dancing, acting, stage presence, and professionalism, Center Stage Elite is an audition-only, year-long commitment (Sept-Aug) for a select team of performers chosen to represent Center Stage in high-level public performances throughout the year.

From festivals, fairs, and community events to featured appearances and specialty productions, Elite performers become the face of Center Stage—trained to deliver polished, versatile, high-impact entertainment in real-world performance environments.

Designed for older and advancing students, this tap class builds on foundational skills while progressing into more intricate rhythms, faster footwork, and performance-ready combinations. Under Nicole Hadley's expert instruction, dancers refine technique, clarity of sound, timing, and control while developing confidence and musicality at a higher level.

Students will apply these skills to musical theatre-style choreography set to selections from Annie Jr., contributing to both our America 250 boot camp and final stage production in May.

Placement in this class is based on a combination of age and experience. Some students may be guided into the level that best supports their growth, ensuring they feel confident while continuing to be challenged.
