***JR BALLET MEET 3X PER WEEK. ENROLLMENT IN MONDAY & TUESDAY (5PM-6:30PM) AND THURSDAY (5PM-6:15PM) IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION***
This class focuses on refining technique, building strength, and enhancing precision. Students will continue developing their adagio work in center, deepen their understanding of all body positions, and work towards achieving a 90-degree extension or higher. Additionally, they will focus on perfecting double pirouettes and advancing to more challenging allegro work. Students will learn the anatomy of a pointe shoe and how to sew them. Under the instructor’s guidance, students will be assessed for readiness to begin pointe work. Those who pass the assessment and receive teacher approval will start introductory pointe work . This class is designed for students who have successfully completed Ballet 4 and received teacher approval for advancement.

Students will train with Sarah Trippeer, CCB Ballet Program Director & Faculty; Sean Steigerwald, CCB Faculty; Sarah Yvonne, Artistic Director & Founder of Esprit Arts Collective and Ballet Conservatory (Chattanooga); and Louie Marin Howard, Executive & Program Director of The Pop Up Project (Chattanooga), leading citywide dance education initiatives across schools, community centers, and performance venues.
This summer intensive exists to offer high-level dance education to our community while challenging dancers to refine artistry, strengthen technique, and build confidence heading into the new season. The program includes a professional dance photoshoot.

Tuition: 1 Week Session – $50 Deposit / $350 Tuition. 2 Week Session – $50 Deposit / $600 Tuition.
