Musical Theater Masterclass
This is a skill building musical theater class for 9th-12th graders! We will dive deeper into the three aspects of musical theater. We will introduce script analysis, play with physical acting techniques, develop diction skills, and much more! We’ll work on acting through song, singing complex harmonies, and even bring in master vocal instructors to lead master classes and unlock our voices. Along with Broadway Jazz technique, we’ll also work on dance conditioning to increase our stamina to sing and dance at the same time (a huge part of musical theater!)
After winter break, we will hold auditions and finish out the year working on a full musical production. All enrolled in the class will have a role in the show.
