Acro (Dancers will be placed in levels)
We are excited to offer a new acro program called Acrobatic Arts. We will be sharing more information about it soon. For now, you are just showing interest by signing up. A final decision can be made later once you hear more about the program. Over the summer, dancers will be evaluated and placed in levels. Then we can tell them specifically what time their level will be. We will start with the younger dancers. It is our belief that all our company dancers should take this program!!! It not only will help them with their acro but with stregth and conditioning all aspects of their dancing will improve. This program does cost extra. But would replace a dancer going to a tumble gym and taking classes.

2026-27 Season
1st-2nd Ballet Methods
Classical ballet is at the heart of all our technical practices. This level introduces and builds on classical positions and fundamental ideas. Our classes begin seated working through body lines and positions, we will incorporate barre and center work along with developmentally appropriate progressions across the floor. Dancers will focus on proper body alignment, posture, and basic ballet vocabulary. Rhythm class is geared toward young dancers and takes a strategic, age-appropriate approach to bridging the gap from ballet to genres like jazz, hip hop, tap, etc. This class will incorporate rhythmic phrases to upbeat music. At the class’s pace, dancers will begin learning how to count music, retain simple choreography, as well as practice how to dance in unison with a group in and out of formations.

Beginner Acro
Acro for dance at the beginner level will focus on skills including: front rolls, bridge-ups, handstands, headstands, inversions, cartwheels, front/back walkovers, toe falls/toe rises, etc. Dancers who have already mastered these skills will be offered boutique workshops focused on more specific/advanced skills on an as-needed basis. In order to maximize time spent on acro skills, if your child is not taking a movement based dance class before acro, we encourage them to warm up on their own ahead of class to prevent injury.
Our Beginner Acro class is designed to introduce dancers to the foundational skills of acrobatics in a safe, encouraging, and technique-focused environment. Dancers will work on building strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and body awareness while learning beginner acro skills such as handstands, headstands, toe rises, cartwheels, dive rolls, and bridges. Classes focus on proper progressions, alignment, and control while helping dancers gain confidence and develop the strong technical foundation needed for future acro training. Perfect for dancers who are new to acro or looking to strengthen their basic skills!
