2025-2026 NHSDA at ADFS
NHSDA at ADFS is our prestigious National Honor Society. ADFS holds one of the few chapters of the National Honor Society for the Dance Arts for our high school students and the only chapter of the honor society available for middle school students. This is an amazing opportunity we want to offer our students who are interested in furthering their dance career through dance education. This organization offers scholarship opportunities, webinars, and conferences to create a community of dancers and dance educators.
The National Honor Society for Dance Arts chapter at Arabesque Dance and Fitness Studio will include webinar events where participants will come together and join in a conference-style setting. We will meet with industry professionals and participate in class-style meetings focused on scholarship opportunities and resume writing.
A $150 membership fee will be added to your account following the Induction Ceremony for new members.

Homeschool Program: Music Fun
Music Fun is a class aimed to strengthen musicality in young dancers. This class teaches the fundamentals of music reading and writing in a fun, age-appropriate way. Dancers will learn about counts, meters, and time signatures, explore rhythm patterns, and understand how music connects directly to movement. Students will also be introduced to basic instruments and how different sounds and tempos influence dance styles.

2026-2027 ADFS Teacher's Assistants
ADFS is recruiting Teacher's Assistants (TAs) for our 2026-2027 Dance Season!
WHO: Open to ADFS Dancers Level I+ enrolled in two or more level dance classes with one or more years of dance experience (ballet strongly encouraged).
WHAT: As a Teacher's Assistant your dancer will serve as a role model to younger aspiring dancers by demonstrating in the dance classroom with our ADFS Instructors. Being an ADFS Teacher's Assistant is a rewarding growth experience for dancer's Level I+, looking to grow personally and inspire others.
WHERE: TAs are assigned to an ADFS dance class based on age and skill level for the season. TAs assist dancers both in the classroom weekly and on-stage at recital. TAs will need ADFS required uniform dance shoes and dance attire.
WHY: Grow your leadership skills- Improve your dancing-Foster friendships-Volunteer in your dance community
HOW: All interested dancers must enroll in this ADFS Teacher's Assistants class in SP and attend the Teacher's Assistant Training Camp TBD
Registration is required for each new season to ensure Dancers and Guardians acknowledge all requirements and enrollment.
