Jr Dance 2 (Jazz /Tap)

This class is for students who have taken our beginner Tap and Jazz or have had at least a year of dance at another studio.
This Intermediate/Advanced Jr (ages 8–12) Jazz/Tap class is designed for dancers who are ready for more focused, technical training.
Students will continue developing strength in both jazz and tap through detailed instruction, faster-paced combinations, and increased expectations in execution and performance. Emphasis is placed on precision, control, musicality, and clean footwork, while also building stamina, coordination, and stage presence.
Dancers will be challenged to retain choreography, pick up combinations quickly, and perform with confidence and clarity.
This level is ideal for students who are committed, take correction well, and are ready to grow as disciplined, versatile performers.

Students will learn through the Standards of Excellence book 1. Students interested in percussion may join this class.

Welcome to the exciting world of Color Guard! In this fun and active class, kids will explore the basics of movement, dance, and teamwork while learning how to spin flags and express themselves through performance.
Designed especially for younger students, this course introduces foundational color guard skills in a playful and supportive environment. Joyful Noisemakers - Preschool Music
Four, Five and Six
“Joyful Noisemakers” is our early program for our youngest joyful music makers – age 4 to 6 years old. We use a comprehensive approach to musical learning that develops singing, movement, and listening skills simultaneously with an introduction to musical styles and concepts. The children will have a positive “hands on” experience using a variety of rhythm instruments and “Boom Whackers” as they create their own music. Our goal is to nurture the children’s love for the gift of music and to equip them with beginning music theory and early music skills to bring with them as they grow into more advanced classes.

In this class students learn the fundamentals of proper choral technique including posture, breathing, pitch accuracy, rhythm, diction, dynamic control, etc. Students will also be introduced to a variety of music styles and languages as they explore a range of songs.
Students in this choir may also choose to audition for Georgia Honor Chorus or Georgia All-State Chorus with approval and coaching by Ms. Delaney Rogers.
We desire to create a learning environment that is fun and encouraging for all participants. We want to provide an opportunity for students and parents to develop lasting relationships with others within Joyful Noise.
Requirements: 12+ or by audition

Students will learn foundational sewing skills, explore quilting techniques, and complete fun, functional projects ranging from simple accessories to pieced quilts and more. Along the way, they’ll build confidence with a sewing machine, experiment with fabric design and color, and sew much more!
In this class, students will:
- Learn how to safely use a sewing machine and basic tools
- Practice hand stitching and machine sewing techniques
- Complete multiple sewing projects
- Explore quilting basics, including piecing, binding, and layout
- Gain creativity, patience, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning
Students must be able to sit calmly and follow instructions as we will be using sewing machines and cutting tools.
