Jr Dance 2 (Jazz /Tap)

This class is for students who have taken our beginner Tap and Jazz or have had at least a year of dance at another studio.
This Intermediate/Advanced Jr (ages 8–12) Jazz/Tap class is designed for dancers who are ready for more focused, technical training.
Students will continue developing strength in both jazz and tap through detailed instruction, faster-paced combinations, and increased expectations in execution and performance. Emphasis is placed on precision, control, musicality, and clean footwork, while also building stamina, coordination, and stage presence.
Dancers will be challenged to retain choreography, pick up combinations quickly, and perform with confidence and clarity.
This level is ideal for students who are committed, take correction well, and are ready to grow as disciplined, versatile performers.

THIS CLASS HAS LIMITED CLASS SIZES
This class is a continuation of Guitar I and has a focus on ensemble playing. These students will spend a majority of the time learning guitar ensemble music while learning the basics of classical guitar technique. In addition to ensemble playing, students will also be expanding their repertoire of rock and pop songs and the various techniques used in those genres of music.

“Joyful Noisemakers” is our early program for our youngest joyful music makers – age 4 to 6 years old. We use a comprehensive approach to musical learning that develops singing, movement, and listening skills simultaneously with an introduction to musical styles and concepts. The children will have a positive “hands on” experience using a variety of rhythm instruments and “Boom Whackers” as they create their own music. Our goal is to nurture the children’s love for the gift of music and to equip them with beginning music theory and early music skills to bring with them as they grow into more advanced classes.
