School Year Program
Our complete September–May recreational program for families ready to enjoy the full Florida Dance Gym experience. Dancers receive consistent weekly instruction, participate in our Annual Spring Recital, and grow alongside the same classmates all season long.



Sessions
Looking for a shorter commitment? Our Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer Session offer the same positive coaching and welcoming community with the flexibility of enrolling by session. Tuition is based on the number of weeks in each session and is prorated for late enrollments.



School Year Program (Pay In Full)
Pay in full for the school year and receive 10% off tuition. Your one-time payment includes discounted tuition, the registration fee, costume fees, and any applicable competition fees, so no additional program payments will be due.



1-Time Trial – $10
New to Florida Dance Gym? Try any class for just $10 with no long-term commitment. One trial is available per class.

4-Week Trial – $65
Experience a full month of dance before deciding on a longer commitment. It's the perfect way to get to know our instructors, classes, and community.

Perfect for energetic kids who love to roll, jump, and tumble! Our Acro/Tumble class focuses on building strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and body awareness through safe, age-appropriate progressions.

Dancers work toward skills such as forward and backward rolls, bridges, cartwheels, handstands, backbends, limbers, and beginning walkovers while developing the confidence and technique needed for future acrobatic success. Every skill is taught with an emphasis on proper technique, safety, and having fun!

Our most popular preschool class introduces dancers to four exciting styles of dance while keeping every week fresh and engaging. Each class features a fun seasonal theme complete with matching movement cards, props, obstacle courses, music, and imaginative activities that help preschoolers learn through play.

Dancers begin building ballet technique, tumbling skills, rhythm, musicality, coordination, flexibility, confidence, and important classroom skills like taking turns, following directions, and working together.

What to Wear
Any color or style of leotard is welcome, including leotards with attached skirts.

This class combines the strong technical foundation of ballet with the artistry and emotional expression of lyrical dance. During Ballet, dancers continue developing posture, alignment, flexibility, strength, balance, extensions, turns, leaps, and overall technique. During Lyrical, dancers learn to connect movement with music through expressive choreography while continuing to refine their artistry, fluidity, performance quality, and storytelling. Whether dancers are looking to strengthen their technical foundation or express themselves through movement, Ballet/Lyrical provides the perfect balance of discipline, creativity, and artistry in a positive and encouraging environment.

Our Acro class focuses on safe, progressive tumbling while building the strength, flexibility, and body awareness needed for advanced skills.

Depending on each dancer's experience level, dancers may work on skills such as handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, limbers, aerial progressions, front and back handsprings, side aerials, front aerials, and connected tumbling passes, all taught with proper technique and injury prevention in mind.

Designed for older dancers who are ready to take their Hip Hop training to the competition stage. Dancers attend a weekly 30-minute team class, continue taking at least one recreational class, and learn a Hip Hop routine to perform at two local competitions.

It’s a positive, balanced introduction to competitive dance with a manageable commitment—perfect for dancers who want to work hard, grow as a team, and experience the excitement of competing.

Dancers will continue developing timing, coordination, speed, clarity of sound, and increasingly complex footwork while exploring a variety of tap styles and combinations. Throughout the season, dancers will learn new rhythms, across-the-floor progressions, improvisation, and choreography that challenge both their technique and performance quality. Whether continuing their tap training or returning after a break, this class offers a fun and supportive environment to grow as a tap dancer.

Eligible dancers enrolled in our Jazz/Hip Hop classes have the opportunity to participate in 1–2 local community performances throughout each session as opportunities arise. Performance Team is a fun, low-commitment way to gain additional performance experience while continuing to enjoy recreational dance.

Prep Team is our introductory competition program for dancers who are ready for a little more.

Dancers attend a weekly 30-minute Prep Team class with others in their age group while continuing to take at least one recreational class. Together, they learn a Jazz/Lyrical routine and compete at two local competitions during the season.

Prep Team gives dancers and families the opportunity to experience competitive dance while maintaining the balanced philosophy of Florida Dance Gym.

This exciting combination class helps dancers continue developing strong technique while building confidence as performers. Dancers work on flexibility, strength, leaps, turns, musicality, expressive movement, and increasingly challenging jazz and hip hop choreography while continuing to grow as versatile dancers.

Eligible dancers enrolled in our Jazz/Hip Hop classes have the opportunity to participate in 1–2 local community performances throughout each session as opportunities arise.

Performance Team is a fun, low-commitment way to gain additional performance experience while continuing to enjoy recreational dance.
