Daytime Arts Enrichment - Tuesday (Grades 4-12)
This is a full day arts enrichment course. The morning starts with an hour of yoga and meditation for all the students (grades K-12) together. Then the students break into age groups and work on an art project that also supports learning in a core subject - following the Oak Meadow arts-based learning projects. After a break for lunch, the students participate in an hour of amazing active drama instruction with instructor Justin Zsebe and an hour of fun language arts instruction with Marcia Winn, both geared for the age group. The students participate in both individual and group creation and projects. Note: There are multiple instructors, but we can only list a lead at this time.

This hour-long class is for students who are new to or have some experience with piano/keyboard technique. If the student is more advanced, we recommend a private lesson with 1 or 2 students (please read the private lesson description). Beinn is the Assistant Maestro of the Joshua Tree Philharmonic and holds a Bachelor's degree in music education. He loves teaching and creates a warm and welcoming class. Students will be taught keyboard technique as well as how to read music. Students must be able to read written words. If a student cannot yet read English, then they need to enroll in a private lesson.

This exciting, hands-on program will give students the opportunity to explore the art of working with clay, from hand-building to creative sculpting and glazing. Perfect for young artists of all skill levels, the class encourages creativity, self-expression, and the joy of making something unique to take home. This class meets EVERY OTHER CLASS WEEK for two hours.
