Adult Ballet Tuesday
This class is designed for adult beginner and intermediate ballet dancers. Students will learn the structure of a traditional ballet class, proper ballet technique, correct body placement and alignment, arm and leg positions, coordination, balance, and the fundamental principles of classical ballet. The class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, posture, musicality, and confidence in a supportive and welcoming environment. No prior ballet experience is required for beginners.

We work on separating from parents while developing listening skills, following the teacher, discipline, and basic ballet etiquette. We build strength and flexibility, stretch and strengthen the feet, and develop musicality and coordination to create a strong ballet foundation. We learn basic arm positions and introduce fundamental dance movements such as jumping, rising, turning, weight transfer, bending, and stretching the knees.
Students may take ballet once or twice per week.

We continue developing musicality, coordination, strength, flexibility, proper body placement, and artistry while building a strong technical foundation for future ballet training.
This level requires a minimum of two ballet classes per week.

Students work on stretching and strengthening the hips, back, shoulders, hamstrings, quadriceps, calves, glutes, and psoas muscles while developing core strength, balance, coordination, stability, and mobility. Exercises are designed to improve posture, increase range of motion, and build the strength necessary for safe and effective dance training and athletic performance.
