At this stage dancers focus on improving their strength, flexibility and balance while refining more complex movements and steps. The syllabus includes exercises at the barre and center with an emphasis on correct alignment and posture. New steps like pirouettes and advanced combinations are introduced. Additionally, students work on developing their artistry through expression and performance in a set dance or variation.
