ADC Soloist Workshop Aug 19 (Age 11+)
Who: Age 11+ (rising 6th+ grade) who are registered to compete a solo at ADC|IBC in Fall 2026
When: August 19 (Wed) from 6:00-8:30pm
6:00-7:00pm – Warmup Class
7:00-8:30pm – ADC Soloist Workshop
What: Dancers who plan to compete a solo at ADC|IBC in Fall 2026 can perform their works-in-progress for a panel of teachers who will offer feedback, support, and advice. Sharing this experience with fellow soloists builds camaraderie and guides goal-setting in preparation for competition.

*Age 11+ (rising 6th+ grade) with 3+ years previous ballet experience.
*Dancers must concurrently enroll in the 4:00-6:00 p.m. Open Class prior to the workshop to be eligible for the ADC|IBC ensemble workshop.
*Experienced dancers who will be entering 6th+ grade in the fall may choose to compete in an ADC|IBC ensemble in Fall 2026. Dancers must attend at least 1 of the 2 summer ADC workshops to learn choreography, and also commit to a weekly ADC ensemble rehearsal class in the Fall Semester (day/time TBD).

PreBallet + Repertoire
In our Kindergarten age PreBallet classes, dancers start to follow the more traditional structure of classical ballet. Stretching, simple barre exercises, coordination exercises, and dance vocabulary will be taught. Skipping, galloping, sliding, marching, and other coordination basics are introduced center floor. Creativity and confidence is encouraged with some elements of free dance. Students will learn repertoire to perform in the Winter and Spring Shows.

Through joyful and imaginative creative dance, young dancers are introduced to ballet skills and vocabulary in a fun and gentle way. Children explore movement, build coordination and confidence, express themselves creatively, and make connections with others—all while discovering the magic of ballet. Creative Ballet is a preschool age ballet class for 3 & 4 years old children without a caregiver. Dancers must turn 3 by September 15, 2026 to participate in this 14-week session.

Dance With Me (Caregiver/Toddler/Child) - Fall Session (Sept 5-Dec 19)
What a fun way to begin your Saturday! Young children participate with an adult caregiver. Dancers will discover the joy of moving their bodies to different tempos and learn about rhythm and ballet shapes. Picture books, games, and props will be incorporated into the lesson to keep our youngest students active and engaged. Basic class etiquette is also introduced and practiced. *Please note: No class on November 28th and December 12th.
