Acro is a dynamic and exciting style that blends dance technique with floor tumbling, partner tricks, and strength conditioning. Students will build flexibility, balance, coordination, and control as they learn skills like rolls, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, and more — all seamlessly integrated into dance movement.
In addition to solo acrobatic skills, students will also work on partner and group tricks, learning trust, timing, and teamwork in a safe, supportive environment. Conditioning is also a core part of each class to help students build the strength needed to safely perform more advanced acro elements. This class with also add in Contemporary dance movements/training.
This class is perfect for students who love to move, flip, and challenge themselves while still keeping dance at the heart of it all!
