Adult Fabric Flow (Feb-Mar)
This class is for everyone looking to build their strength on fabric and expand their aerial knowledge! All classes will begin with a 15-20 minute warm up, followed by conditioning, and skills. The focus of this series is on flowing through shapes and conditioning to improve climbs and inversions.
Pre Reqs: Must have attended 2 fabric classes/private lessons with us, or have prior approval from instructor. We do allow drop-ins for this class if not full.
Drop-in policy: Drop-ins are non-refundable unless the studio cancels class due to inclement weather. The studio must be notified 24-hrs or more in advance to apply the credit toward another class. If we are notified within a 24-hour period, the credit can apply toward one open gym session with us.

Want to try aerial, but unsure where to start?! Our introduction series is perfect for those new to aerial. Each class begins with a 15-20 minute warm up, followed by conditioning, and skills. Each week, students will be introduced to a new apparatus, silk, trapeze and lyra. Focus will be on overall flexibility, building upper body and core strength along with shoulder stability. Basic fundamentals will be taught, climbing, inversions and different shapes on the apparatus.

This is a drop in class, where you choose the dates dates you'd like to attend.

-Open Gym is a self guided training time for aerialists to work on skills and sequencing you have previously learned in class and to have fun! Available apparatus are fabric, sling, lyra and trapeze.
-For safety reasons, you must be currently enrolled in classes at SADC, have taken at least 3 classes at SADC, or have been cleared by our instructors.
-Teaching yourself a new trick and student teaching student is not permitted under any circumstance. Thank you for being safe!
-Open Gym supervisors are like lifeguards, they are there to ensure safety, not to instruct.
-SADC reserves the right to cancel open gyms/refund clients in the event there are less than two paying attendees registered.

In this workshop, we will explore backbending. We will learn how to warm-up and cooldown safely for backbending and learn how to actively recruit our hips and upper back to protect our lower back in backbends. This workshop will utilize active flexibility drills, partner stretches, and nerve glides to access our spinal extension.

We are so excited..it's finally time for our adult showcase series! This series is designed to help students see their progress, and have an opportunity to perform in front of a small audience. Students will be guided in pulling together an informal showcase for friends and families.
The instructor (Andee) will hand out a document outlining what students can expect to see in her choreographic process, and address any questions on the first day.
Prerequisites: Comfortable on apparatus for at least :45, 3 Delilah pull ups on each side, can get to seated and standing on the lyra, must have taken at least 2 previous lyra series with us or have instructor approval.
Showcase Date: Wednesday 6/4, 7 pm at SADC
Reflection Date/Recap: 6/11
