Performance Class
The Legacy Performance Team is a fun recreational performance-based Irish dance class for dancers of all ages and experience levels. Dancers will build confidence, stage presence, teamwork, and leadership skills while learning exciting choreography and preparing for local community performances. Dancers will learn how to create sound using the tips and heels of their shoes while mastering four dynamic dances: Treble Reel, Hornpipe, Heavy Jig, and a Traditional Set. *All Intermediate dancers are required to register for both their grade-level soft shoe class and Intro to Hard Shoe. These two classes work together to build the full skill set needed at this level. Registration for each class is separate.
*Beginner dancers may be invited to join once they’ve developed a strong foundation in soft shoe. Your teacher will let you know when your dancer is eligible to add hard shoe.

*All Intermediate dancers are required to register for both their grade-level soft shoe class and Intro to Hard Shoe.These two classes work together to build the full skill set needed at this level. Registration for each class is separate.

A class designed specifically for Irish dancers to build strong habits from the beginning and continue improving at every level.
Dancers will focus on the important details behind their dancing including turnout, toe height, flexibility, posture, balance, and control. Using ballet-based exercises and Irish dance specific training, dancers will learn how to strengthen their bodies and improve the technique needed for their steps.
This class helps dancers develop:
• Stronger feet and pointed toes
• Improved turnout
• Flexibility and mobility
• Better balance and body control
• Strength for jumps and movements
• Confidence in their dancing
