Acting Principles: Improv, Scenes, Character Work (Ages 10-17)
Join BBJ Vocal Coach and Acting Mentor, Ashley Morris, as she explores the fundamentals of Acing Principles for youth and teens ages 10-17. In this class, you will learn about how acting is reacting. We will dive into everything from improv, to scene work, to how to develop a character. It will be structured in a way that meets your rising star where they are. Theater helps to instill self-confidence and promote young minds to embrace who they are as an individual and not be afraid to stand out from the crowd.
No prior acting experience necessary. There will be two opportunities to perform this semester: Nov 1st SPOOKY SHOWING and Dec HOLYOKE HISTORIC NUTCRACKER. Bring YOUR joy to us!

NEW class designed for BBJ Musical Theater Students Ages 10 to Adult!
The Broadway Body (TM) is a conditioning & technique class customized for the BBJ dancer/performer brought to you by Christine Kjellquist (CPT, PES) of CK Movement, LLC - an industry expert on training & conditioning performance qualities for dancing and performer's presentation. You will be training in Christine's signature program, Body IN Balance (TM) which improves stability, core, balance & posture - thereby enhancing your presentation, technique, dance skills and performance quality on stage. We will stretch, we will strengthen, we will work on dance fundamentals. Designed for all levels. No previous dance or movement experience required.
-Please bring water, jazz shoes and/or studio-friendly sneakers.
