AD focuses heavily on the Classical Ballet Progressions of Canada syllabus, with a mix of Cecchetti.
Students have the option to take their Ballet Progressions exam if Miss Shannon feels they are ready. Students must also attend the extra prep class after Christmas and in May.

Affirmation Dance attends 3 local festivals held at the Lougheed Centre in Camrose between March and June. All three festivals are mandatory. Dancers will also perform in the showcase and recital. Festival and costume fees are additional and not included in tuition.
Dance style will be chosen once Miss Shannon sees who has registered. She may move dancers between Festival Teams based on ability, style, or age group. Parents are asked to respect Miss Shannon’s professional decisions regarding team placement and choreography style.

This fun and energetic camp combines princess imagination with cheer poms and beginner acro skills. Young dancers will enjoy a magical week filled with movement, games, and creative activities.
Dancers will learn pom dance routines, explore beginner acro skills such as log rolls, bridges, and balancing, and participate in princess themed dance games and crafts.
The week will finish with a Princess Power Poms performance for families.

Dancers will learn dance choreography, cheer pom combinations, and participate in fun freestyle and dance games. Glow sticks, neon colors, and blacklights will transform the studio into a glow dance party.
The week will conclude with a Glow Performance for families.

The week will finish with a Stuffie Dance Showcase for families.
