A choreography class for dancers who want to attend festival and compete in a group. To be in this class, dancers must also be enrolled in one of the following: Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, or Lyrical. Consistent attendance is essential—too many absences may result in removal from the festival lineup.
Affirmation Dance attends 3 local festivals held at the Lougheed Centre in Camrose between March and June. All three festivals are mandatory. Dancers will also perform in the showcase and recital. Festival and costume fees are additional and not included in tuition.
Dance style will be chosen once Miss Shannon sees who has registered. She may move dancers between Festival Teams based on ability, style, or age group. Parents are asked to respect Miss Shannon’s professional decisions regarding team placement and choreography style.

To be in this class, dancers must also be enrolled in one of the following: Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, or Lyrical. Consistent attendance is essential—too many absences may result in removal from the festival lineup.
Affirmation Dance attends 3 local festivals held at the Lougheed Centre in Camrose between March and June. All three festivals are mandatory. Dancers will also perform in the showcase and recital. Festival and costume fees are additional and not included in tuition.
Dance style will be chosen once Miss Shannon sees who has registered. She may move dancers between Festival Teams based on ability, style, or age group. Parents are asked to respect Miss Shannon’s professional decisions regarding team placement and choreography style.

Miss Shannon and Miss Charlize will be there to walk with the dancers as we represent our brand-new Affirmation Dance Forestburg studio! We’ll have cute cheer poms, hand out studio flyers and help spread the word about our new second location.
Please arrive with enough time to find our group and get organized before the parade starts. After the parade, everyone is invited to join us at the new studio at 1:00 PM for the official ribbon cutting with the Deputy Mayor, a meet and greet with the instructors, in-person registration and free popsicles.
