Geena's style of choreography is high-energy and fun. Great class for those with some dance experience, or those who just want a good workout. Choreography is taught at medium to fast pace. These classes are designed to elevate a dancers training experience with longer class times and accelerated levels. Dancers will take 4 classes per day, at 90 minutes each, with a one-hour lunch break. This will also allow families to have a safe place for their dancer in the summer while parents are working. Classes will be taught by various CFD staff members as well as possible guest instructors. Each week will include Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Some weeks may also include Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz Funk, Improv, and more!

This class is designed to help students with their agility, stamina, strength and flexibility. The focus is to enhance stability, control and awareness of a dancer's body helping to execute proper technique and various skills utilized in all genres of dance.

***You must take a ballet and/or jazz/musical theater in conjunction with this class.

* Girls' attire -- Fitted tank or sports bra, dance shorts (full coverage), leggings or fitted capri, hair pulled out of face. Tan half soles, footundeez, or bearpaws recommended.

In this class, we'll cover all the elements needed to successfully execute turns, including correct posture and placement of the shoulders, core, arms, legs and feet, how to prepare, the importance of spotting, and how to find and keep your balance. We'll then practice a pirouette combination. Allégro refers to all fast or brisk steps and movements. Every step where a ballet dancer jumps are considered allégro. This includes sautés, jetés, cabrioles, assemblés, etc. Students are encouraged to study ballet first and/or along with other forms of dance, as it is the foundation to all dance. This class is designed for dancers with the goal of going on pointe. Instructors will focus on dancers to further develop and strengthen muscles necessary to go en pointe, stressing correct alignment and correct technique. Dancers are required to take 1-2 additional ballet classes in order to be considered for pre-pointe. This class requires office registration to ensure dancers are meeting all requirements.

- Dancers must have at least one year of prior ballet training and must also take an additional ballet class along with the Pre-Pointe class. -
- Dancers in Pre-Pointe are evaluated in class and instructors may recommend Pointe once dancers are at least 11 years old.

This class is designed to help dancers that wish to try out for their middle school dance team and/or help them further their technical skills should they already be on a team. The class is taught by a seasoned professional and includes drill techniques for pom, jazz, military, kicks and tricks.

Please wear leggings with a fitted tank or leo, or unitard. Drill boots, jazz shoes, and/or sneakers recommended. Poms are provided for dancers to practice with while at CFD.

This class is designed for dancers with the goal of going on pointe. Instructors will focus on dancers to further develop and strengthen muscles necessary to go en pointe, stressing correct alignment and correct technique. Dancers are required to take 1-2 additional ballet classes in order to be considered for pre-pointe. This class requires office registration to ensure dancers are meeting all requirements.

- Dancers must have at least one year of prior ballet training and must also take an additional ballet class along with the Pre-Pointe class. -
- Dancers in Pre-Pointe are evaluated in class and instructors may recommend Pointe once dancers are at least 11½ years old.

In this class, we'll cover all the elements needed to successfully execute turns, including correct posture and placement of the shoulders, core, arms, legs and feet, how to prepare, the importance of spotting, and how to find and keep your balance. We'll then practice a pirouette combination. Allégro refers to all fast or brisk steps and movements. Every step where a ballet dancer jumps are considered allégro.
