Dancers are required to take 1-2 additional ballet classes in order to be considered for pre-pointe. This class requires office registration to ensure dancers are meeting all requirements.

- Dancers must have at least one year of prior ballet training and must also take an additional ballet class along with the Pre-Pointe class. -
- Dancers in Pre-Pointe are evaluated in class and instructors may recommend Pointe once dancers are at least 11½ years old.

- Viral dances based dance camp for dancers 7-10 years old. (This is a Tik Tok based camp, but everything will be age appropriate and dancers will learn to "tik tok" safely)
- Dancers are encouraged to dress in fitted dance attire, or shorts with t-shirt, tank top. Sneakers are required.
- Dancers will learn age-appropriate tik tok style dances, and make tik toks for the CFD tik tok page.
- Showcase on Friday during the last 30 minutes.

ATTIRE
- Girls: Any style fitted dance attire, shorts, leggings, joggers, t-shirt, tank top all acceptable. Please have hair pulled back out of face into a ponytail, or braid. Sneakers are required
- Boys: Comfortable clothing, with sneakers.

**PLEASE NOTE**
- Dancers should bring a snack and tight closed water bottle with them every day.
- Summer Registration Fee is non-refundable.
- Camp and Intensive fees may be applied as a credit if a cancellation notice is received at least 10 days in advance. After that, fees are non-refundable due to planning purposes.

Centre for Dance is excited to offer intensive dance training this summer for dancers ages 7 & up. Dancers will be grouped by age and ability once registration is finalized. These classes are designed to elevate each dancer’s training experience through accelerated learning, and a focused approach to technique.

Throughout the week, dancers will train in core dance styles that build strong technical foundations, performance quality, and versatility. Each day is intentionally structured so dancers grow progressively, allowing them to build on skills, confidence, and artistry as the week develops.

Our intensives provide a supportive, engaging environment led by CFD faculty and possible guest instructors, while also offering families a safe and enriching summer experience for their dancers.

Centre for Dance’s Drill/All Star Intensive is designed for dancers looking to strengthen precision, power, and performance quality. Dancers will train in core drill team styles including pom, military, kickline, and more while focusing on sharp technique, synchronization, flexibility, and endurance. This high-energy intensive helps dancers build strong technical skills, improve performance confidence, and develop the strength and control needed for drill and team environments.

- Attire for all students: Dance top or fitted shirt, jazz pants, or leggings tan jazz shoes or drill team boots, hair pulled out of face.

This intensive is most suited for middle school and high school dancers with a desire to be on a high school drill team or pom squad or dance team, as well as dancers currently on a team!

Our Advanced Dance Team Technique class is designed for dancers who are preparing for or currently part of a dance team and want to strengthen their overall technique and performance. Dancers will train in the three most commonly performed dance team styles—pom, jazz, and lyrical—building a well-rounded foundation in each.
This class focuses on refining skills such as turns, leaps, flexibility, control, and sharpness, while also developing the strength, endurance, and consistency needed for team performance. Dancers will also grow in important habits like work ethic, attention to detail, and quick retention.
Serving as an addition to team practices, this class helps dancers build confidence, clean technique, and a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed on a dance team.

Teen Jazz Technique II is designed for dancers ages 13 and up with at least three years of consecutive jazz training. This high-level class builds on foundational techniques with clear advancement in skill, strength, and performance quality.
Class moves at a fast pace as dancers refine and advance technical elements such as turns, leaps, and legwork through structured warm-ups, across-the-floor progressions, and center combinations. Emphasis is placed on precision, control, musicality, and stylistic clarity.
At this level, dancers are held to elevated expectations in both execution and classroom focus, encouraging discipline, consistency, and continued growth in their jazz technique.

*Girls' attire—tight-fitted athletic clothing. Leggings, biker shorts, tank tops, sports bras. Jazz shoes required. Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun
*Boys' attire---athletic shorts or pants with athletic shirts. Jazz Shoes required

This class is designed for teens at all levels, ages 13+, and focuses on using flexibility and strength to enhance overall technique. Dancers will refine their turns and jumps while learning new skills to improve control, alignment, and execution.
The class incorporates the Godfrey Method of technique coaching, emphasizing proper mechanics, body awareness, and safe progression. Through targeted exercises and combinations, students will develop greater power, precision, and confidence in their movement, applying these skills to all styles of dance with clarity and artistry

*Attire—Tight fitted tops and bottoms. Jazz shoes required. Hair should be out of face and secured

Teen Tap I is designed for dancers ages 13 and up with at least one year of prior tap experience. This class builds on foundational tap technique while developing rhythm, timing, and clarity of sound.

Dancers will learn traditional and historical tap steps, explore tap history, and deepen their understanding of rhythm and musicality through combinations and exercises. Emphasis is placed on articulation, control, and consistency of sound.

This class encourages dancers to grow in both skill and appreciation for tap culture, fostering confidence, musical awareness, and performance quality in a supportive environment.

Emphasis is placed on precision, articulation, and consistency as dancers progress to more intricate footwork.
Students will continue learning about tap history and culture, deepening their appreciation for the art form while being held to higher expectations in both execution
