OTSCT Student Night
Don't be fooled by the name - this one's for you, too, parents!

We know the holidays can be jam-packed and stressful - maybe you'd like time to spend some one-on-one time with your partner, maybe you have last-minute shopping and wrapping to do, maybe you just need 4 hours all to yourself... Whatever your reasoning (it doesn't matter to us!), OTSCT is offering our first-ever Student Night!

On Friday, December 19th, from 5:00-9:00, we have planned a fun, holiday-themed evening for our OTSCT students. Included in the price: pizza dinner, snacks, painting an ornament at Hot Spot (our new plaza neighbors!), holiday movies on loop, karaoke, games, and more. We will even have a dedicated "chill space" in the back of the studio for our kids who need to escape the noise and work a quiet activity or chat with friends.

Leave the kids with us for a few hours and enjoy!

Needs a minimum of 6 students to make.

**Please note that all charges will have a 3% Processing Fee**

Acting for the Camera
Welcome to Acting for the Camera, taught by Mr. Corbin Adriano!

AFC provides a comprehensive introduction to on-camera performance, fostering creativity, discipline, and confident self-expression. We will explore:

- Auditioning for the camera: Dos and Don’ts for a proper audition, how to do a proper slate, and the full shot.

- Translating stage skills to the screen: We'll cover the distinct techniques required for on-camera performance, including understanding differences between on-stage and on-camera acting, hitting marks, nuanced reactions, and adapting performance for different shot sizes. Students will practice cold readings for on-camera auditions.

- Showcase Performance: At the very end of our classes we will have recorded performances for family and friends to see their work.

This course emphasizes critical thinking, movement for the camera, translating facial expression to the camera, and a supportive environment for artistic growth.

Prior experience is helpful but not required. All we ask is for an open mind, a willingness to play, and a passion for on-camera storytelling!

The class showcase will take place on Wednesday, February 11th, at 7:00 pm. Location TBD.
