This class takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why ZUMBA® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

This class is taught by a certified ZUMBA® instructor. Students must be ages 18 and older to participate. This class is appropriate for all skill levels - from beginner to advanced. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required. Please wear clean sneakers to class. This class is non-performance based, and do not participate in the spring recital. This class costs $10, discounts available with a punch pass. Punch passes are valid for one adult only (i.e. cannot be transferred between multiple people). This class does not perform in the May 2025 Recital

Adult Dance Fusion - Ballet
Adult Dance Fusion will alternate styles roughly every several weeks to give you taste of the world of dance – including ballet, swing, jazz, Broadway jazz, and even a hip-hop workshop. Read below for additional details for Ballet.

Ballet will run for 4 weeks with Spencer & Ashley - Tuesday, January 21st through Tuesday, February 11th. Students will begin class by warming up at the barre – focusing on flexibility, whole-body conditioning and more. Students will then move centre to learn technique – including across the floor work and petit allegro exercises that focus on small jumps and turning steps. Finally, students will learn a ballet combination.

All classes are suitable for adults ages 18 and older, and appropriate for all skill levels. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing (ideally nothing too baggy) and ballet shoes, socks or barefoot are encouraged. This class is 1 hour. $10 drop-in, or discounts available with purchase of punch pass. This class does not perform in the May 2025 recital.

Adult Dance Fusion - Broadway Jazz
Adult Dance Fusion will alternate styles roughly every several weeks to give you taste of the world of dance – including ballet, swing, jazz, Broadway jazz, and even a hip-hop workshop. Read below for additional details for Broadway Jazz.

Broadway Jazz will run for 4 weeks with Spencer & Ashley - Tuesday, April 22nd through Tuesday, May13th. These classes will cover the basic movements and principles of Broadway jazz. Students will focus on technique, precision, musicality, and personal expression. Each class includes a warm-up and learning choreography/a routine.

All classes are suitable for adults ages 18 and older, and appropriate for all skill levels. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing (ideally nothing too baggy). For footwear - jazz shoes, jazz sneakers or tennis sneakers are encouraged. This class is 1 hour. This class does not perform in the May 2025 recital.

Adult Dance Fusion - East Coast Swing
Adult Dance Fusion will alternate styles roughly every several weeks to give you a taste of the world of dance – including ballet, East Coast Swing, jazz, Broadway jazz, and even a hip-hop workshop. Read below for additional details for Dance Fusion: East Coast Swing.

East Coast Swing will run for 4 weeks with Spencer & Ashley - Tues., February 25th, Tues. March 4th, Tues. March 11th and Tues. March 18th from 7:00-8:00pm. Each week, there will be a 45-minute lesson followed by 15 minutes of social dance. Swing classes will build on lessons from the week prior and include an overview of the previous week’s lessons, when applicable.

**Special Discount for East Coast Swing classes only** Sign-up & pay in advance for all four weeks to receive a reduced rate – even more reduced than our regular 5 or 10 class punch-pass. Drop-in classes are typically $10/class, but pay ahead with a special East Coast Swing punch pass: for $30 for all 4 weeks for one person or $50 per couple for all 4 weeks. To redeem this offer – you must sign-up for all four classes by Tuesday, February 25th (online or in-person during class). This swing class pack is non-refundable and only valid for these 4 Dance Fusion: East Coast Swing classes. If you have a regular 5-pack or 10-pack punch pass, you are welcome to use them for this class – but you will not be credited any additional discounts.

Adult Dance Fusion will alternate styles roughly every several weeks to give you taste of the world of dance – including ballet, swing, jazz, Broadway jazz, and even a hip-hop workshop. Read below for additional details for Hip-hop.

Hip-hop will run for 1 class with Val on Tuesday, February 18th. Students will begin class by warming up, learn some foundational hip-hop steps & tricks, then learn a routine. Towards the end of class, the black lights come out, the disco ball shines extra bright and we bring our all to the dance floor for a few more run throughs of our newly learned routine.

Class is suitable for adults ages 18 and older, and appropriate for all skill levels. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advanced registration required. $10 drop-in fee, or discounts available with purchase of punch pass. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and clean sneakers. Adult Barre & Dance Fitness
Are you ready to condition and build strength like a baller-rina? Barre/Dance Fitness is a whole-body workout derived from classical ballet, HIIT (high-intensity interval training), and other movement specialties to help build endurance; core, arm & leg strength; and so much more. Exercises will focus on conditioning, cardio, muscle toning, flexibility, and high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Strenuous meets stretch - and sweat will meet fun. You'll utilize a ballet barre, weights and additional props to move, groove, tone, strengthen and sweat. Did we mention sweat?

This class is suitable for adults ages 18 and older, and appropriate for all skill levels. Drop-ins are always welcome, no advance registration required. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing (ideally nothing too baggy) and clean sneakers, socks, ballet shoes or barefoot. Please bring a water bottle and hand towel. This class covers the foundational elements of jazz, including basic movements and principles. Students will learn jazz technique, isolations, musicality, and personal expression - all while participating in skill-building games. This class is suitable for students ages 6 to 8 years old. All skill levels welcome, from beginner to more experienced. For students with prior experience, new skills will be introduced. Jazz shoes shoes are required. This class is 1 hour in length. Levels 2 & 3 Jazz Funk (Hip-hop & Jazz)
Jazz Funk covers the foundational elements of jazz and hip-hop. This blended style of dance focuses on isolated movements, coordination, musicality, and personal expression - as well as accelerated movement as the session progresses, allowing beginner and more experienced dancers to progress. Jazz Funk is not an offshoot of either the jazz or funk musical genres. It came into being when dancers merged movements from the world of hip-hop with elements of jazz and other dance styles. All music and movement is age appropriate. This class is suited for students ages 9 to 17 years old - and open to all skill levels, including absolute beginner, immediate, or advanced. Jazz shoes or jazz sneakers strongly preferred, or clean street sneakers required. This class is 1 hour in length. All students enrolled in this class will participate in the session-end recital.

This class covers basic tap rhythms and movements, as well as age appropriate accelerated movement as the session progresses - allowing beginner and more experienced tap dancers in this age group to progress. Students will learn a variety of tap styles, including Classical, Broadway and Rhythm. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. This class is suitable for students ages 9 to 17 years old. Tap shoes are required. All skill levels welcome. This class is 1 hour in length. All students enrolled in this class will participate in the session-end recital.

Pre-k Ballet and Tap
This class is a fun introduction to dance with a focus in ballet and tap. Students will learn basic ballet and tap movements in addition to various social skills, including the importance of following directions and the value of participating in a group. Students will explore dance while using props and through freedom of expression, as well as receive an introduction to elements of musicality, like tempo. This class is suitable for students ages 3 to 5 years old. Tap and Ballet shoes are required. This class is 45 minutes in length. Students must be ready to function away from their caregiver, and be ready to focus in class, listen, wait their turn, and stay on their spot, among other skills. All students enrolled in this class will participate in the session-end recital.

Levels 1-3 Tumbling
This class covers the basics of tumbling and floor gymnastics in addition to learning acro dance skills. Students will learn skills that focus on flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, and muscle control. Students will have the opportunity to break out into groups to build skills, allowing for beginner students and intermediate/advanced students to learn and grow. For students new to tumbling, skills will focus on cartwheels, leaps, bridges, splits, handstands and more. For students with more experience, skills may include round offs, backbend kick-overs, front and back walkovers, etc. This class is suitable for students ages 5 to 17 years old. Students must be barefoot in class (i.e. no socks), for safety reasons. This class is 1 hour in length. All students enrolled in this class will participate in the session-end recital.

All skill levels welcome. This class is suitable for students ages 18 and older. Jazz shoes are required. This class is 45-minutes in length. All students enrolled in this class will participate in the session-end recital.
