In this combination dance, acting, singing class, students learn strong dance technique in fundamentals for the stage as well as choreography derived from various Broadway styles. Teachers lead students through a center warm up including stretches, isolations, and core strengthening. This is followed by across the floor technique and choreography. We will learn Music Theater dance combos, then put them together with a singing component (Teacher Hannah will teach singing technique, harmonies, belting, etc), then students will have acting practice with reading through scenes and working on acting skills! This combination class builds on movement skills from Jazz and Hip Hop, and introduces the styles of Pom/ Cheer style dancing! Dancers will get to dance with Pom poms and learn some combos with them! Inside/clean sneakers are required to maximize movement and prevent slipping.

Ballet I/ II
Dancers will learn a combination of dance movement skills, fine and gross motor skills, and classical ballet steps. While students in Ballet I/II are most comfortable when they have attended a Pre-Ballet or Creative Movement class, it is not necessary to have had prior training before entering this class. This class introduces and builds upon ballet techniques, terminology, musicality, and discipline. We also focus on ensuring your child has fun and develops a genuine love for ballet!
