CML’s Composition Lab is a season-long course culminating in the Endeavor performance in May 2026. The year is divided into two parts: the first focuses on lecture, directed improvisation, and the creation of short compositions using body, motif, phrase, and rhythmic structure. The second expands into choreography, incorporating music, theme, staging, and technical elements.

$50 Performance / Recital Fee

Students will collaboratively design and present original works for performance. This Lab builds the tools to view, interpret, communicate, and create dance—as both a performer and choreographer.
