The program is divided into two parts: the first focuses on directed improvisation and the creation of short compositions through body, motif, phrase, and rhythmic structure; the second expands into full choreography, incorporating music, theme, staging, and technical elements.

Each day includes a seminar exploring concepts in creativity, choreographic process, and neuroscience — come ready to engage and take notes. Technique classes vary daily, drawing from both classical (historically rooted) and contemporary (current) movement traditions and are open to drop-in students. Directed improvisation sessions guide you toward generating and codifying material for your own composition, and rehearsal time is dedicated entirely to creating, teaching, and crafting your work toward performance. Breaks are built in to restore both body and mind.
