This summer ballet class provides a structured and supportive introduction to classical ballet while continuing to build and refine technique for dancers with prior experience. Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles and focuses on strength, control, balance, flexibility, and proper alignment.

Required attire:
Black leotard
Pink or Skin-Tone Convertable tights
Pink Ballet shoes

Optional Attire:
Ballet Skirt (Black, white, or Blue)

Jazz (Ages 10+)
This summer jazz class introduces and strengthens jazz dance technique in a clear, structured, and engaging way that is accessible for dancers who are newer to jazz while still challenging those with prior dance experience. Jazz is a high-energy dance style that blends strong, athletic movement with musicality, rhythm, and performance.

Dancers will focus on foundational skills such as proper body alignment, posture, and coordination, as well as strength and flexibility needed for safe and effective movement. Class will include a guided warm-up, stretching, and conditioning exercises to support overall technique and injury prevention. Dancers will learn jazz-specific movements such as turns, leaps, jumps, kicks, and traveling progressions across the floor, with explanations and corrections given in a way that is easy to understand for all experience levels.

Required Attire:
Girls must wear a fitted dance top or leotard with leggings, fitted pants, or dance shorts and jazz shoes or half soles.
Boys must wear a fitted t-shirt or tank with athletic dance pants or shorts and appropriate dance shoes.
Hair must be secured and remain out of the face.

Contemporary/Lyrical (Ages 10+)
This summer, the contemporary and lyrical class blends technical training with emotional expression, helping dancers develop both movement quality and storytelling through dance. Contemporary and lyrical styles focus on fluid transitions, musicality, and expressive movement, while drawing from foundational techniques such as ballet and jazz.

This class supports growth in all dance styles and is ideal for dancers looking to maintain and develop their technique, versatility, and expressive abilities over the summer. All levels are welcome, and instruction will be thoughtfully adapted to meet each dancer where they are in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Required Attire:
Girls must wear a fitted dance top or leotard with leggings, fitted pants, or dance shorts and half soles.
Boys must wear fitted dance attire with appropriate dance shoes.
Hair must be secured and controlled for movement.

Sparks Ballet/Acro/Jazz (Ages 3-6)
Our Sparks class is designed especially for our youngest dancers as they begin their dance journey. This fun and engaging combo class introduces dancers ages 5–6 to the basics of ballet, jazz, and acro in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. Spark represents the beginning — our goal is to spark a love for dance while building confidence, creativity, and joy in movement.

Dancers will learn foundational skills such as balance, coordination, flexibility, and musicality through structured exercises, games, and imaginative movement. Ballet basics will help develop posture and grace, jazz introduces rhythm and energetic movement, and acro focuses on beginner strength, flexibility, and safe tumbling skills. All techniques are taught with an emphasis on proper alignment, safety, and positive reinforcement.

This class is great for both new and returning dancers looking to explore jazz style while continuing to grow their skills. All levels are welcome, and instruction is tailored to meet each dancer where they are in a positive and motivating atmosphere.

This lyrical class introduces dancers ages 6–9 to expressive movement and storytelling through dance in a nurturing and encouraging environment. Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz while focusing on musicality, emotion, and fluid movement.

This class is perfect for both new and returning dancers who enjoy expressive movement and creativity. All levels are welcome, and instruction is adapted to support each dancer’s growth while keeping class positive, fun, and inspiring.

Summer Technique Class (Ages 6+)
Our Summer Technique Classes are designed to keep dancers strong, flexible, and confident throughout the off-season while continuing their technical growth. These classes focus on essential training elements, including strength and conditioning, flexibility and mobility training, and technique work rooted in ballet and jazz foundations. Together, these components help dancers maintain proper alignment, improve control and coordination, build endurance, and support overall injury prevention.

Consistent training over the summer is essential for continued progress, and these classes provide dancers with the opportunity to stay in shape while refining their skills in a focused and supportive environment. Summer Technique Classes are highly encouraged for dancers interested in joining our competition team, as they help build the technical foundation, strength, flexibility, and stamina needed for a successful season ahead.

Attire:
Dancers should wear appropriate workout or dance attire, including leotards, tank tops, fitted t-shirts, leggings, shorts, or tights.
Jazz shoes or ballet shoes are required.
Hair must be worn in a slick-back ponytail or another secure style that keeps hair out of the face.
