Diamonds Ballet/Pre-pointe
Diamonds classes are High school ages as a guideline, but class placement is based on ability.
Pre-pointe is where students start in ballet shoes, and work on conditioning their ankles, feet, turnout and strength. They will then be tested on those in mid-October to determine if they are ready for pointe shoes.
Requirements for Pointe shoes:
-Must be at least 10 years old
-Must have had at least 3 years of ballet, and 1 year of pre-pointe
-Must have passed the pointe test, and determined to have strong enough ballet technique and strength for pointe shoes.
