2026/2027 10 month season Class Guidelines:
If your dancer has previously danced with us you will find their recommended classes highlighted below. You are welcome to register for as many classes within your dancers level as you would like. Dancer's who take more classes will see faster progression of skills as well as have higher success with remembering class content. All registered dancers must register in at least one Softshoe class. Classes receive discounted rates the more classes they take.
A $45/ registration fee is required to reserve your space in fall classes. - Each additional child registered is an addition $5. Register Early to save on registration costs!

Summer Class Guidelines:
Beginner Classes are for dancers age 5-9 who have never danced before OR who have been dancing for less than 2 years/ Jr.A and Sr.A Levels
Advanced Classes are for dancers who have danced for over 2 years (Level B or higher) OR new dancers who are age 9+

2025/2026 - Full Season
This class is for new and returning beginner dancers age 4-8. Dancers focus on basic foundational Irish dance techniques and learn their first soft shoe dances including reels and jigs.
*Age as of September 1st 2025*
5:00 PM to 5:40 PM
This class is for new beginners age 8+ and returning dancers who have graduated from Jr.A or are in Beginner in competition levels. Dancers continue to work on foundational skills while learning all 4 soft shoe dances and have the option to begin hardshoe class.
**Dancers are considered Sr.A at the age of 8 or when they have achieved their Beginner Light Jig or Reel

5:40 PM to 6:25 PM
Our dancers age 6+ can enroll in Hardshoe class. Hardshoe is a fun percussive style dance using shoes similar to tap shoes. All competitive dancers and Sr.A dancers are highly encouraged to enroll in Hardshoe Class. Dancers will work on beginner steps and routines.
*Dancers also required to enroll in any softshoe class*
*Minimum 6-8 months of softshoe highly recommended before enrolling in hardshoe class*
6:25 PM to 6:45 PM
This is an add on class for all dancers in Level B and above. Dancers will focus on breaking down their dance steps to focus more heavily on proper technique through drills specific to each dancer and their current levels. Dancers will also learn team ceili dances working on building teamwork and collaboration. Team dancers are heavily encouraged to perform at st. patricks day events.
**Dancers also required to enroll in another Soft Shoe class**
***This class also available as a drop-in for short term extra practice***
6:45 PM to 7:45 PM
Returning dancers who have reached Primary in at least one dance or know all softshoe dances. Teacher recommendation required.
*Dancer's at this level should take at least one soft/hardshoe class each week with 2 softshoe classes/week highly recommended* - See Technique and Teams class for secondary class option.
***Dancers are considered Level C When they have moved at least one dance into Primary in competition (levels may be combined or split based on registration numbers)
5:15 PM to 6:45 PM
Class is for all dancers in Level B softshoe
6:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Advanced Beginner Class for returning dancers who know at minimum their Reel & Light Jig or new dancers age 10+
Dancers continue to work on all 4 soft shoe dances and are encouraged to enroll in Technique and Teams Class.
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
New and Returning Beginner Dancers Age 4-8 with a focus on learning basic movements and techniques, Dancers will focus on working towards their beginner reels and light jigs

5:30 PM to 6:10 PM
All dancers age 5+ and above dancers can enroll in hardshoe class. Hardshoe is a fun percussive style dance using shoes similar to tap shoes. All competitive dancers and Sr.A and above dancers are highly encourages to enroll in Hardshoe class

6:10 PM to 6:45 PM
This class is for new beginners 9+ and returning dancers who have graduated from Jr.A. Dancers continue to work on the foundational skills while learning all 4 soft shoe dances and have the option to begin hardshoe class.

8-Week Session
An Intro Session for young dancers Brand New to Irish Dance Ages 4-9. Try out class before registering for Summer and Fall Classes. No Costume Fees, No Performance, No irish dance shoes required.
Learn the Basics of Jumps, Skips, and the Irish Jig.

Summer Sessional Class for New dancers, and returning dancers still in Jr/Sr.A
Ages 5-10

Class for current dancers in Level B or higher. Class will work on both Softshoe and Hardshoe dances.
6:15 PM to 7:30 PM
2026/2027 - Full Season
This class is for new and returning beginner dancers age 4-6. Dancers focus on basic foundational Irish dance techniques and learn their first soft shoe dances including reels and jigs.

This class is for new beginners age 7+ and returning dancers who have graduated from Jr.A or are in Beginner in competition levels. Dancers continue to work on foundational skills while learning all 4 soft shoe dances and have the option to begin hardshoe class.

Dancer's may choose to attend a monthly workshop where applicable.

Returning dancers who have reached Intermediate or higher level in the majority of their dances. Teacher recommendation required.
*Dancer's at this level should take at least one soft/hardshoe class each week with 2 softshoe classes/week highly recommended* - See Technique and Teams class for secondary class option.
Class also meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month in Parkland for Choreography Workshop
***Dancers are considered Level D When they have moved at least 2 Dances to Intermediate in competition. Dancer's are required to know all 4 Softshoe and 2 Hardshoe dances (levels may be combined or split based on registration numbers)
5:00 PM to 6:45 PM
Class is for all dancers in Level B softshoe
6:15 PM to 7:00 PM
Advanced Beginner and Primary Class for returning dancers who know at minimum their Reel, Light Jig, & Single Jig
Dancers continue to work on all 4 soft shoe dances and are encouraged to enroll in Technique and Teams Class.
Dancers at this level are highly encouraged to add Hardshoe classes.

This class is for new beginners 9+ and returning dancers who have graduated from Level A Dancers continue to work on the foundational skills while learning all 4 soft shoe dances and have the option to begin hardshoe class.
Jr.C applies to dancers with less than 3 Dances in Primary. Dancers with no Beginner level dances should enroll in Tuesday B/C Class.
