Ages 11 and under Master Class with Alex Cyncewicz. Alex is a 20-year-old professional dancer from Detroit, Michigan. He signed with Bloc Talent Agency in Los Angeles after completing his year at Mather Dance Company as a student of their Bridge into the Industry program. During his time in California, Alex was one of Shannon Mather’s skeleton crew dancers on Derek Hough’s “Dance for the Holidays” Christmas tour. He has assisted several well-known choreographers, including Blake McGrath, Shannon Mather, Nicole Smith, Chaz Buzan, Jaclyn Royal, Daniel Terrell, and others. In addition to assisting, he has choreographed and taught at several studios across Michigan. Alex has danced for JoJo Siwa numerous times, including at her Mall of America Holiday Concert on Black Friday and in her newest music video, “Serendipity.” In the fall, he plans on relocating to Los Angeles to further his dance training and career.

Christina Yoder - Tap - 12 and over - 6/4/26
Ages 12 & Over Master Class with Christina Yoder. Christina is a nationally sought-after educator, choreographer, and adjudicator known for her dynamic versatility and high-standard, dancer-centered approach to training. She specializes in Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Acro, and ballet-based technique, bringing a comprehensive and intentional foundation to every class she teaches.
With years of experience across studio, convention, and competition settings, Christina has developed a progressive curriculum that supports dancers at every stage of their development. In addition to teaching, she partners with studio owners nationwide to create customized training systems across multiple genres, designed to elevate both technical understanding and artistic growth.
Christina’s students are recognized for their strong technique, emotional authenticity, and performance quality. They have earned regional and national titles, performed in commercial and print work, booked national tours and Broadway productions, and continued their training at the collegiate and professional levels, including nationally ranked college dance teams, NBA dance teams, and Division I programs.
As a choreographer, her work has received numerous awards and has been showcased on stages across the country. She is the Co-Founder and Director of Resonance Tap Experience which produced the Rock City and Steel City Tap Festivals. Her performance credits include regional theatre productions such as A Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, and Annie Get Your Gun (Dance Captain), as well as professional tap companies including The Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers and What’s On Tap. Christina also toured nationally and internationally with Sesame Street Live, performing across the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, and Asia.
Christina holds dual degrees in Dance and Psychology from Muhlenberg College, where her choreography was selected for both regional and national performances at the American College Dance Festival, including the Kennedy Center. Her academic background informs her thoughtful, developmentally appropriate approach to dancer training and feedback.
She is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, an AcroDance Adjudicator, and a Mental Wellness Certified Adjudicator through Dancsend. Christina currently serves as Head Judge and Faculty Coordinator for ID Dance Competition, where she leads adjudicator training and upholds the organization’s standard of excellence in feedback and education.
Outside of dance, Christina is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and 4-time World Champion in Taekwondo. She and her husband Adam live in Northern Indiana with their son, Ezekiel, and fur babies Petunia, Sweet Pea and Snap Dragon.

Ages 11 and Under Master Class with Kennedy Phelps. Kennedy is a dancer, choreographer and teacher in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University class of 2021, and has received a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Dance. While at Western Kennedy has performed in works by Paul Taylor, Yin Yue, Kate Skarpetowska, Jennifer Archibald, Mike Esperanza, BAIRA, Monique Haley, and Brendan Duggan, and was a member of Western Dance Project under the direction of Whitney Moncrief. In 2022 Kennedy worked as a guest artist with Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. In the summer of 2022, Kennedy was featured on the cover of ROC magazine’s Issue 03: Embodied. In 2023 Kennedy became the founder and director of K Company Dance, LLC located in Bloomfield Hills, MI, where she can continue to share her knowledge and love for dance with the youth of today. Her choreography has been awarded multiple 1st place and choreography awards at dance competitions across Michigan. Kennedy’s work “Presence Practice” was selected to perform at National HS Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2025. Kennedy’s choreography and social media platforms have led her to teach at Dance with Jax in Jacksonville, Florida. In October of 2025, Kennedy has choreographed for Harvard University’s Dance Team in Cambridge, Massachusetts for their UDA National Competition. Kennedy is now a competition judge for Hall of Fame Dance Challenge for the 2025/2026 season.

Nina Pollzzie - Contemporary - 12 and over - 5/28/26
Ages 12 & Over Master Class with Nina Pollzzie. Nina is a graduate of Point Park University, receiving her BFA in Dance concentrating in Modern. During her time at Point Park, she has had the pleasure of working and performing works from choreographers Martha Nichols, Bob Fosse, Maud Arnold and Rennie Harris. Nina also had the opportunity to attend the Hubbard Street intensive where she performed works from Alysia Johnson, Adam McGaw, Ashley Green, James Gregg and Kameron Saunders. In the Fall of her 2022 semester at Point Park, Nina received the Tomayko Choreography Award for Outstanding Choreography. She also had the opportunity to choreograph for the University of Michigan Dance Team in the Summer of 2024 for their Home Routine as well as teach Master Classes for their summer Intensives. Nina works as an Instructor and one of the main choreographers for Haja Dance Company where she also spent her life as a dancer under the direction of her mom Selena Williams-Molter. Nina also is currently a member of the company Take Root in Detroit Michigan. Nina has a passion for creating and teaching proper technique to her students.

This is a mixed level class to help the dancer learn and master the following skills.
Intermediate skills such as chest stands/elbow stands, as well as introducing tumbling skills such as front/back walkovers and side aerials.
Advanced skills will focused on hand balancing with and without the use of handstand canes, advanced walkover and Arabian variations, side and front aerials with variations and back tumbling.

This is a shorter class (only 30 minutes) which focuses on using motor and rhythmic skills to improve coordination, strength and flexibility while engaging creativity and early socialization. This class is designed for 2-4 year olds.

This 30 min class will introduce our youngest dancers to Ballet. The Ballet exercises are taught to introduce important dance basics such as stretching, concentration, coordination and discipline.

This 30 min class will feature an introduction to jazz technique and introduces basic movements set to upbeat music to encourage rhythm and coordination including both center floor and across the floor combinations, as well as basic jazz technique progressions.

Beginning acrobatics and conditioning. This class will cover forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges and introduce front/back limbers.
