We are looking for Dancers with a kind heart who are interested in being a class helpers. These dancers will need to attend their helper class every week and learn their dances to help dancers in the class. You will also be needed for bathroom breaks and shoe changes.
Please note just because you register for this class does not mean you will be selected. We will take into consideration your attendance and behavior from last season.

This is to sign up to claim a spot to try-out for Company. What is Company? Company is a specialty group made up of a select number of dancers chosen by a panel of judges. Dancers get the opportunity to perform in a large group and work with peers in small groups to choreograph a dance to perform in the show. This may be a duo or trio or senior solo (12th graders only).
This season, Company dancers will be selected based on their skills in the Acro genre. Acro is a style of dance that combines technical dance training with advanced flexibility and acrobatic elements.
All dancers will be evaluated and must demonstrate the following to be considered: full right and/or left leg splits, a full middle split, a bridge, heel stretch, split slide, and strong, clean leaps and jumps. Dancers must also be able to perform basic acrobatic tricks such as cartwheels, forward and backward rolls, and similar movements.

Pointe evaluations
Are you between the ages of 12 and 17? Do you want to do Pointe?
This is to sign up to claim a spot to be evaluated for Pointe class. What is Pointe? Pointe is a classical ballet technique that involves dancers dancing on the tips of their toes using specially designed Pointe shoes. This technique creates the illusion of weightlessness and grace, allowing dancers to perform intricate and challenging movements with precision and elegance. This is a specialty class and requires dancers to be evaluated to determine ankle strength. Spaces are limited for class.
If the evaluation reveals the dancer is not ready for our 1 hour pointe class, they will be recommended to take the pre-pointe workshop that will assist your dancer with exercises to build up ankle strength and balance so they can hopefully move into the pointe class in future seasons.
