Creative Dance is a fun and engaging class that introduces toddlers to the world of dance. What is The Production Team - Our production team performs 1 production routine at competitions. This piece has a theme and focuses on storytelling and strong characterization. It will have props which parents will be responsible for helping design/creating as well as transporting. This routine will travel to 4 competitions and will perform as our opening number at recital. Choreography will begin in October with once a month practices on Sundays.

It will have props which parents will be responsible for helping design/creating as well as transporting. This routine will travel to 4 competitions and will perform as our opening number at recital. Choreography will begin in October with once a month practices on Sundays.

What is The Convention Team - For dancers who are interested in pursuing additional training opportunities with industry professionals at dance conventions. Convention team has no minimum class requirements for the 2024 - 2025 season. All you have to do is be a dancer aged 6 - 19 interested in attending dance conventions. Our convention team will attend two conventions with dates TBD. There is no monthly cost from A Step Above to join the convention team, You will only be responsible for your convention fees + the studio fee, and the Teacher Fee.
Convention fees range from $150 - $250/convention/dancer and will be due September 15th.
