Twinkle Tots Program: Introduction to Dance
This level is designed for beginning young dancers just starting their dance journey. It is a ballet, tap and jazz combo class.
• Primary Focus: Etiquette, imagination, musicality, posture, placement and coordination.
• Key Skills: stretching, rhythm, locomotor steps for ballet, with some simple jazz and tap progressions; laying the foundation of dance with learning, listening and fun.

Level 2:
An Elementary Ballet Foundations class designed for dancers who have a basic knowledge of ballet and jazz techniques and are ready to refine their skills and add contemporary dance to their repertoire.
• Primary Focus: Expanding vocabulary, improving balance, turnout and flexibility, while strengthening technique and increasing confidence when moving.
• Key Skills: body positions, adagio work, jumping, turning and more complex center floor exercises incorporating balance and placement.
• Age Group: Typically ages 7-8

Level 1:
Ballet Basics at a Primary level. Classes are for dancers with some prior experience or are just eager to learn, who are ready to build foundational skills in ballet, jazz, tap and repertoire.
• Primary Focus: Beginning ballet technique, basic center exercises, and simple ballet sequences and the fundamentals for Tap and Jazz with imagination and joy!
• Key Skills: Port de bras, jumps, and introductory combinations, dynamics and focus.
• Age Group: Ages 6-8
• Level 1A: one day a week dancer: Thursday, 4:15-6:00
• Level 1B: two day a week dancer: Tuesday, 4:00-5:45 and Thursday 4:15-6:00pm

• Primary Focus: Perfecting technique, more complex jumps, holding placement while dancing, artistry, and preparing for performances.
• Key Skills: Petite and Grand allegro steps, Pirouettes,1st year -beginning pointe primarily at the barre and lite center work, conditioning and intricate choreography.
• Age Group: Typically Ages 11-13

• Key Skills: musicality, jumping, turning, Grand allegro leaps, pre-pointe strengthening, and intricate choreography.
• Age Group: Typically Ages 9-11

• Key Skills: All styles and speeds of allegro jumps, has control of center work, 4th year pointe strengthening, more complex turning, and intricate choreography.
• Adaptability: Quick learning and application of corrections during rehearsals and performances. Able to take feedback in a constructive way.

Training for pre-professional dancers is both demanding and rewarding. It is a journey that tests perseverance, discipline, and passion, ultimately shaping individuals into artists and positive, confident people ready for College and Company dancing.
• Primary Focus: Perfecting technique, artistry, and preparing for performances.
• Key Skills: Classical ballet performance ready, 5th year pointe strengthening, and artistic performance qualities for all styles of dance while striving for excellence and refining the craft of dance. Partnering.
• Adaptability: Quick learning and application of corrections during rehearsals and performances. Able to take constructive criticism.
