Summer Judy's Music & Preschool Prep (Thur)
Welcome to Judy’s neighborhood, where children and grown-ups make friends while singing, dancing, playing instruments, moving with puppets and scarves to children's melodies, classics, jazz, and world music. After music comes gym time on professional early childhood equipment and art time for children and parents. As in a neighborhood, children learn from one another, older from younger and younger from older. The earliest possible exposure to a structured music class has a profound affect on later learning. Babies watch with rapt attention, calming older children as they sing and move to the music. A diverse classroom experience enriches everyone. In this program, children acquire skills for preschool and a love of learning that will last a lifetime. We will not be sharing instruments and props, so please bring your own rhythm instruments, puppets/ dolls (one for each child and grown-up).
