Adult Zumba
Sarah Anderson
This adult Zumba class is a high-energy, dance based fitness class that combines Latin and international music with choreographed movements. It's a 60 minute class and is designed to be fun, engaging, and accessible to all fitness levels.

Participants follow an instructor through a series of routines that include steps from salsa, merengue, reggaeton, cumbia, and hip-hop, among others. The class usually begins with a warm-up, progresses into faster-paced dance segments that elevate the heart rate, and ends with a cool-down and stretching period.

The atmosphere is upbeat and social, with participants encouraged to move at their own pace. It's less about perfecting the moves and more about keeping active, enjoying the music, and burning calories often in a party like environment.

Yin Yoga
Alicia Manica
Yin Yoga: Deep Stretch & Mindful Stillness

Explore the power of stillness and deep stretching with our Yin Yoga class—a meditative practice designed to enhance flexibility, release tension, and prepare the body for longer periods of meditation. Unlike Restorative Yoga, which focuses primarily on relaxation, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues (fascia) around the joints, including the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine.

What to Expect:
• Long-held, passive floor poses (3-5 minutes or longer) to stretch and strengthen connective tissues
• Focus on the lower body where fascia is most concentrated
• Deep release of tension, promoting flexibility and joint health
• Gentle breathwork to support mindfulness and stillness
• A calm, supportive environment designed to deepen your practice

This class is perfect for anyone looking to increase mobility, find inner stillness, and create lasting balance within the body and mind. Suitable for all levels, especially those looking to complement more dynamic (yang) styles of yoga.

Bring your mat, a blanket, and any props for added comfort. Prepare to unwind, stretch deeply, and discover a new level of stillness.
