Tween Acting
This class is designed as an introduction to the fundamentals of acting for tween students.
The class begins with team-building exercises to foster a sense of ensemble, encouraging students to build trust in one another and in their own creative instincts. From there, students will be introduced to the Five W’s of Acting—Who, What, Where, When, and Why—which serve as essential tools for developing characters and understanding scene work. As the class progresses, students will apply these concepts to assigned monologues and scenes, gaining confidence, technique, and a deeper understanding of performance.

Teen Theatre Coalition
Part theatre hangout, part creative lab—the BARCLAY Teen Theatre Coalition is a space for teens to connect, collaborate, and create. This open-format Friday night program invites students to work on their own theatre-based projects, from original plays and informative videos to creative showcases and beyond.
Coalition members also take on leadership roles in BARCLAY community events—planning, setting up, running, and breaking down in-house functions. Students gain valuable experience behind the scenes, with exclusive opportunities to support productions and events throughout the season.
Whether you're looking to build leadership skills, collaborate with fellow theatre lovers, or bring your creative ideas to life, the BARCLAY Teen Theatre Coalition is your place to shine.
