This is a low impact class geared towards adults. Basic ballet positions, theory & terminology are covered as well as functional stretching and strength. Classes are co-ed and geared toward adult students 30+ years old. We welcome younger, interested people to participate in Adult Dance Classes as well.

Student learns the ballet technique appropriate for each level, and when the student's body has become strong enough to accomplish the movements taught, then at the discretion of the Director, the student moves to the next level where more intricate steps and combinations are introduced. Ballet advancement is based on ability of meeting specific standards, not age.

Summer Camps for ages 5-11-year-olds!
During camp, we will have daily dance classes, snacks, games, prop-making, activities & more!
Performance on Saturday, July 25 at Carbondale's Mountain Fair on the Gazebo Stage at Sopris Park

Camp is a drop-off and pick-up system for the dancers. Parents are encouraged to leave their dancer throughout the day, as we have many teachers and assistants to help out and make sure, they are safe and enjoying themselves!

Mid-Summer Nights Dream Choreography Clinic
Ages 11 and up with a minimum of 2 years of ballet experience.
Choreography for our Mountain Fair performance of a Mid-Summer Nights Dream will be taught. It will also include a daily warm-up. Production rehearsals will be run along with the children's camp in week 2.

Contemporary & Jazz Open Level
1-HOUR CLASS.OPEN LEVEL | Ages 8 TO ADULT
Contemporary dance is a style of dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from various genres, including classical ballet, jazz, modern dance, and lyrical dance. This genre of dance isn’t restricted by the rules that govern traditional dance forms. Instead, it relies on improvisation and versatility and is characterized by freedom of movement and fluidity. Open Level, dancers need not have prior experience.
