Children will wear comfortable dance clothing, and ballet shoes for this class. There are several pairs of ballet shoes available at the studio to try on, borrow, or purchase for $5.

Three years of previous dance experience recommended. Age 10 and up. Students are on track to complete a strengthening program, pre-test and post-test during the session to determine safety and readiness for dancing on pointe shoes, which will be determined by the instructor and the director.

Solos by Audition
Solos and duets for our spring performance will be by audition only. The audition date is to be determined. Students who would like to audition for these specific parts must plan to be available for rehearsal times will vary throughout the week, depending on which choreographer each dancer will work with. Dancers are required to practice weekly with their choreographers.
Solos and duets will be created for students who demonstrate dedication to dance as their main sport/art form, and who are consistent in weekly dance classes without absences or other commitments.
