This level is designed for the advanced dancer and builds off the curriculum of Level 4. The dancers in this level are training at a pre-professional level with an emphasis on advanced technique, theatricality, musicality, pointe, strength and basic partnering. Pointe work may be included but not required. If your dancer is coming from another studio, please inquire about level placement. Dress code required.

Contemporary 3
Ages 13+

Contemporary Jazz combines the basics from different dance styles, such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, and modern, to create a dynamic and versatile style. This style encourages dancers to explore their movement potential through improvisation, while also developing body awareness and personal style. Contemporary jazz often includes floor work, quirky off-balance moves, and a variety of body lines.

For dancers in 4th & 5th grades

This level is designed to practice coordination, balance, and form. At this level, the dancer begins to practice Ballet movements at an increased pace. Turns are introduced. Coordination, musicality, flexibility, posture, artistry and Ballet terminology are all emphasized. Completion of a full session of Ballet 1B is required. If your dancer is coming from another studio, please inquire about level placement. Dress code required.

Ballet Level 2/3
For dancers 6th grade and up

This level is designed for the beg/intermediate dancer and builds off the curriculum of Level 2. The Level 2/3 curriculum focuses on technique, leaps, jumps, turns, posture, and balance. Dancers continue working on more advanced skills including pirouettes. Pre-pointe is included and dancers are evaluated for beginning pointe work. A minimum of at least two full years of Ballet training is required. Recommended to combine with Ballet 3. If your dancer is coming from another studio, please inquire about level placement. Dress code required.

Learn the fundamentals of the hip hop movement, culture, and style! There is a large history that gives these movements depth and value. Combining the energy and grittiness of urban dance with fitness, U-Jam is a cardio dance experience that feels more like a 90’s House Party than a workout. Dancers begin to establish the fundamentals of classical Ballet, barre work is introduced and an emphasis is placed on linking steps and musicality. Ballet class etiquette is also introduced. Dress code required.

Technique-based class that help dancers improve their leaps, jumps, and turns, as well as their strength, flexibility, and alignment. The classes may also focus on other techniques, such as chaînès, pirouettes, and fouettès. The goal is to help students develop a more refined form and technical perspective that can improve their overall dance ability.
