This class is great beginner class for our young dancers that are interested in learning about ballet and tap. Dancers will be learning basic ballet and tap dance steps and terminology. In addition, there will be time for creative movement which includes creativity, coordination and choreography. Dance attire: any color or style leotard and tights (during hot months tights are not required, but please send thin socks for tap shoes). Shoes: pink or skin toned ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

Hair should be pulled up and out of face. Please send a labeled water bottle.

Technique 2. **Dancers must take Ballet Technique 1 before they move on to Ballet Technique 2 unless otherwise noted by the teacher.

Dancers must be at least 9 years old to begin Ballet Tech 1. If they have had ballet technique classes from another studio, then they may meet with the ballet technique teacher to be properly placed.

Dancers will need to come in proper ballet attire each week: Girls: leotard, tights (any color / style is fine), ballet skirt, hair in bun, pink/skin toned ballet shoes. Guys: plain black/dark fitted, athletic pants, fitted shirt, black ballet shoes.

We focus on balancing, coordination, basic beginner dance steps and concepts. In addition, beginner tumble skills are also introduced. Adults will be actively involved - learning and growing alongside of their toddler.

Adult - come dressed in comfortable work out clothes. Dancer - girls: leotard/tumble leotard or shorts/t-shirt. boys: t-shirt, shorts
Bare feet for everyone - no dance shoes.
