This class is great beginner class for our young dancers that are interested in learning about ballet and tap. Dancers will be learning basic ballet and tap dance steps and terminology. In addition, there will be time for creative movement which includes creativity, coordination and choreography. Dance attire: any color or style leotard and tights (during hot months tights are not required, but please send thin socks for tap shoes). Shoes: pink or skin toned ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
Hair should be pulled up and out of face. Please send a labeled water bottle.

This is a 60-minute class meeting once per week where they master the fundamentals of ballet - posture, placement, turnout, basic terminology, and etiquette - while being evaluated on their understanding and execution of these elements every 6-8 weeks.

Ballet Technique 2 meets two times a week. For Company members and pre pointe track dancers, they are required to take both Tuesday and Thursday classes. Cost for both Tuesday and Thursday is $60 a month.

Coach Aaron will train / teach you to master your back handsprings, tucks, layouts & aerials.
You must have a well executed cartwheel / roundoff and independent backbend (able to do a backbend by yourself - standing back up by yourself), back handspring, (with a spot) and back/front walkover.
Please come in proper tumble attire - leotard / tumble shorts. No tights or shoes. Bring your water bottle.
