The Acting for YoungStars 2.0 (created by Jape Payette) is full of theatre games, improv, and scene creation that help students shine on stage while building confidence & teamwork, and developing speaking & presentation skills.
This expanded 2.0 version, unique to Total Arts!, adds theatre experiences such as set & prop design, program creation, and show production as students learn about the different elements that go into putting on a show.
Mornings will be spent designing & creating show elements, afternoons will be spent with program creator, Jape Payette, learning scenes & songs for the final performance & participating in theater games & learning activities. Stage crew members will have the opportunity to participate in the the drama games & activities throughout the week.

- The theme this week is "Creative Construction"! Students will design & create a variety of projects throughout the week using cardboard, paper, paint, and various found items. They will be challenged to take 2D concepts and turn them into 3D objects or structures.
- NOTE: Projects may take several days to complete so it is very important that students attend each day.
- Students will be grouped by age/grade based on registration numbers. Some projects may be different for each group but the overall theme is the same.
