Our Primary Ballet, also known as the "Blue" Class, is a wonderful place for ages 5-7 to start working on dance skills. Fluid and dynamic, contemporary challenges dancers to connect the mind and body with versatility and adaptability. Breaking the rules of classical ballet, contemporary makes its own movements unique and eclectic. Let’s get into it! Appropriate for ages 7 and up!

During the session, students safely build strength, flexibility, and balance through engaging exercises like cartwheels, forward and backward rolls, handstands, headstands, and bridges. Perfect for ages 6-8!

Acrobatics 2 for ages 9 and older is an advanced beginner to intermediate floor-work and tumbling class designed for students who have already mastered basic foundations like forward rolls, cartwheels, and simple bridge positions. In this class, students build upon their physical conditioning, core strength, and flexibility to safely learn and refine level-appropriate skills such as handstand-to-bridge recoveries, bridge kickovers, cartwheel variations, and early walkover progressions. The class combines precise body control with seamless transitions, helping preteens enhance their balance, agility, and spatial awareness.

In Basic Tap young students learn that our feet are percussive instruments. Our class emphasizes the foundations of tap technique, rhythm, and musicality. Students explore basic tap steps such as flaps and shuffles and also work traveling movements such as waltz clog, Irish, buffalo, and flap-ball-change. Focus is placed on developing proper tap techniques, producing clear tap sounds, and gaining an understanding of how their sounds and movements fit into the music. Class consists of focused warm-ups, technical work in the center, across the floor, and weekly choreography combinations. As this is a performance class, these tap students will also get to enjoy learning a dance to be performed in front of a live audience. Appropriate for ages 5-7
