La Boutique Fantasque Magical Ballet Camp
An introduction to the ballet, La Boutique Fantasque (The Fantastic Toy Shop). Students will hear a child-appropriate story of the ballet, participate in a daily ballet class, enjoy a daily snack, and make several themed crafts during the week. They will also learn a short performance based on La Boutique Fantasque and perform it for their parents and families on Friday.

Please register to submit your video audition here. Videos must be linked to a viewable YouTube or Vimeo file and should be emailed to info@warrentonballetcenter.com. Female students should wear a black leotard, no skirt, pink tights, ballet shoes, and pointe shoes (if applicable) with hair in a bun. Male students should wear black tights, a white t-shirt, and either black shoes or white shoes with white socks. Hair should be out of the face. The video should be 10 minutes or less and must include:
Barre (exercises may be shown only on one side):
Rond de Jambe, Fondu (on releve for advanced), Frappe (on releve for advanced), Adagio, Grand Battement (with pirouettes for advanced)
Center (both sides, please):
Adagio, Tendu, Pirouettes (en dehors and en dedans for advanced), Petit Allegro (including assemble, jete, and brise for advanced), Grand Allegro
