Viter (Age 11-13)
Recommended for dancers age 11-13 (as of December 31) or dancers in Grade 5, 6 & 7. Dancers age 10 with Ukrainian dance experience may also register if approved by instructor and artistic director.
Dancers will expand their understanding of Ukrainian dance technique and steps from multiple regions. Increased exposure to ballet technique. Dancers will also learn choreography to be performed at school concerts and festivals. This class will participate in one out of town festival.

This is a supplementary class where dancers will work to develop their dance technique and performance artistry! Dancers will warm up with proper technique and participate in step sequences and combinations that will improve posture, coordination and artistic expression. This can be taken alone or as a compliment to Proleesok, Promin or Viter.
This class will not participate in performances.

Ballet Technique (Age 13+) (Tuesday)
This is a supplementary class where dancers will work to develop their dance technique. The goal of this class is to build a strong foundation that will allow dancers to explore more complex steps and choreography in repertoire classes.
This class will not participate in performances or festivals and is open to dancers from all dance clubs.

Zoloto (Gentle Adult)
Recommended for adults. This class will be a more gentle version of our popular adult program. Classes will include a warm up, basic technique focused on balance and coordination, folk dance steps/combinations and a cool down. Perfect for dancers who are new to Ukrainian dance or dancers who require a more gentle approach due to injuries or other limitations.
Individuals from this class will be invited to participate in our spring concert. Spring concert rehearsals will take place outside of class time. A small costume fee will be collected for dancers who choose to perform.

This is a supplementary class where dancers will work to develop their dance technique. The goal of this class is to build a strong foundation that will allow dancers to explore more complex steps and choreography in repertoire classes. This class is also appropriate for those with dance experience who wish to continue dancing without the commitment of performances.
This class will not participate in performances or festivals and is open to dancers from all dance clubs. There are no volunteer obligations to participate. Class begins October 2 and runs until June 4 with no class on December 25 or January 1.
A minimum of six dancers is required to run this class.
This is a supplementary class where dancers will work to develop their dance technique. The goal of this class is to build a strong foundation that will allow dancers to explore more complex steps and choreography in repertoire classes. This class is also appropriate for those with dance experience who wish to continue dancing without the commitment of performances.
