Participation is by invitation only. Interested dancers should complete the Dance Team Extras Interest Form. Choreography is taught through private lessons at $30 per 45-minute session, divided among the dancers participating (for example, a trio pays $10 per dancer, per lesson). Most routines require 10–15 lessons, typically scheduled on Friday afternoons.
Friday Rehearsals
Bi-weekly rehearsals are held January through May to prepare for competitions and recital performances.
Cost: $10 per student, per rehearsal.
Additional Expenses
Team Jacket (Fall order): Approximately $100
Additional shoes, if required
Optional monthly dance clinics: $15–$20
Attendance Policy
Consistent attendance is essential for team success. Dancers with more than three absences from choreography may be required to schedule a 30-minute private lesson ($25) to learn missed material and maintain team readiness.
Fundraising
Team members will have opportunities to help offset expenses through fundraisers, including the Great Lakes Loons fundraiser and other optional fundraisers coordinated by Dance Team parents.
