This class is for dancers ages 9.5+ looking to explore a new genre of dance. Our Contemporary/Lyrical class is the perfect mix of the technique of ballet and the freedom of jazz. Dive in to a diverse style of dance that allows dancers to explore their artistry through movement, while learning new techniques and skills to enhance their dance vocabulary. This is not a class to miss!
This class is for dancers ages 9.5+ looking to explore a new genre of dance. Our Contemporary/Lyrical class is the perfect mix of the technique of ballet and the freedom of jazz. Level III/Teen Acro
Level III Acro is the next step after Level II here at Next Gen. Prerequisites required are: Handstand to bridge, bridge kicker, cartwheel on both sides, headstand and working on variations, strong conditioning skills, and confidence in working on more difficult skills such as walkovers with a spot.
Level III is recommended for ages 9.5+ or dancers who can confidently show all prerequisites. If your dancer cannot confidently perform all skills listed above, please look into Level 2 Acro.

Ages 9.5+. A jazz or contemporary class in addition to Musical Theatre class is highly recommended.

Level III Ballet is geared towards dancers who have confidently completed Level 2 ballet and are ready for a new challenge. Working on more difficult movements through the use of 3rd and 5th position, introducing new elements of port de bras, and learning more allegro movements (jumping), dancers will be challenged both physically and mentally in this class.
With a continued focus of discipline and elegance in this class, your dancer will continue to work on poise, posture, etiquette, and strength.

Level II Acro is the next step in your dancers acro training once they have completed Level 1 (or previously Movers/Divas Acro)
In this class dancers will continue to improve on their acrobatic basics including somersaults, handstands, cartwheels and bridges; while adding in new challenges such as kickovers, holding skills, and linking skills together. Dancers will continue to develop their strength, flexibility, coordination and balance through this class. Dancers taking this class should be able to confidently push up into a bridge, perform a somersault and a cartwheel, and be working on kicking up into a strong handstand.
This class is for dancers aged 7-9 who can complete the pre-requisite skills. Dancers still working on the pre-requisite skills should look into Level 1 Acro.

We will continue the focus of clean technique and quick footwork while also beginning to work on a few extra "tricks" for the dancers to show off. Dancers in this level should have a strong base in Jazz technique and be ready to take on new challenges with positivity and optimism. 2 years jazz experience is recommended. Level II classes are recommended for dancers who have not taken jazz before or need a basics refresher.

Small Steps is the perfect next step for your dancer that has completed our Tiny Toes program, or a new dancer between 4-5 years old interested in trying out a few styles of dance. In this class the dancers will explore Hip Hop and Tap in a split-class format. Each week the dancers will work on about 20 minutes of each genre, diving a bit further into more technique and basics and developing a love for each style. A shoe change will be required half way through. Small Steps Combo classes help dancers to find the genres they enjoy most to set them up for success in the future. This class will have just one recital dance that uses elements of each style that they have been learning throughout the year. This class is meant for dancers 3-5 years old. Younger dancers should look at Tiny Toes classes, while older dancers should look at Mini Movers classes.

Dancers will dive in to more basic technique training and terminology that will stick with them throughout their ballet training and assist them in other technical genres as well. The Level I Ballet class will focus on enhancing the dancers love of ballet, while improving their skill set and setting them upper future success in dance. Dancers looking to one day audition for Next Gen's competitive team are highly encouraged to take this class, as well as Level I Jazz. Level I classes are geared towards dancers born in Jan-June 2021

This class will have just one recital dance that uses elements of each style that they have been learning throughout the year. This class is meant for dancers Born in Jan-June 2022 or July-Dec 2021. Younger dancers should look at Tiny Toes classes, while older dancers should look at Mini Movers classes.
Small Steps is the perfect next step for your dancer that has completed our Tiny Toes program, or a new dancer between 4-5 years old interested in trying out a few styles of dance. In this class the dancers will explore Ballet, Jazz and Acro in a split-class format. Each week the dancers will work on about 15 minutes of each genre, diving a bit further into more technique and basics and developing a love for each style. Small Steps Combo classes help dancers to find the genres they enjoy most to set them up for success in the future. Level II Ballet
Level II Ballet is the next step in your dancers ballet training after Level I (previously Mini Movers or 1 year in Dancing Divas) Level Ii Ballet will focus on new vocabulary that challenges the dancers, as well as more intricate use of turnout, and lots of strength building. Dancers will be travelling, jumping, and turning in all new ways in this class and continuing to enhance the training they have already received.
This level is great for dancers born Jan-June of 2019 with 2+ years experience, dancers born in 2018, or any dancers 2017 and older with little to no ballet experience.

Level II Tap is for dancers with 1 year or less tap experience looking to build foundational tap steps and techniques that will assist them in their future tap classes. With an emphasis on musicality, rhythm, and coordination, dancers will learn many skills throughout this class that will help them in every genre of dance they take!
This class is perfect for a new tapper or a beginner tapper between 7-9 years old. Tappers with 2+ years experience should look into Level 3 classes.
