2025-2026 Season
Elite Ballet (Team 1 & Open for All Dancers)
This is a non-performance class based on teaching your dancer the fundamentals of classical ballet. They will learn from a specific curriculum, including the use of the barre and how to properly position their body for ballet training, which can enhance their overall technique in every other style of dance.
- This class is open to all dancers in the studio, but it is required for our competition dancers.
- REQUIRED CLOTHING FOR CLASS: Hair must be up and out of the face in a tight bun with tights, leotard, and ballet shoes on for each class. The purpose of this is to ensure the dancers can properly see their technical alignment without clothing getting in the way.
- As this is an hour-long class, the price will be the same for a regular 45-minute class!

5th-7th Grade Contemporary
Lyrical has more of a balletic form to it. So that means more fluid movement with a sadder and softer tone. Lyrical has specific lines and techniques to it, while contemporary has no rules and different movements. In contrast, Contemporary is a harder-hitting type of movement that is sharper and edgier that allows them to explore the differences in dynamic movement. In Contemporary, we will explore more floorwork, tricks, expressive movement, and allow the dancer to move their bodies in different ways that they never knew. It's a more challenging style that we've never explored for our recreational classes, but it's such a great way to show the dancers how expressive and unique dance can be as an art form.
