Aug 3rd-7th
Beginner/Intermediate: Ages 7-15 | 1 week | 4-7pm | $230
(little or no acro experience through the intermediate level)
In this1-week intensive for ages 7-15, from 4-7pm, time will be spent focusing on building strength, flexibility, and acrobatic techniques, as well as skills we don’t always get to practice during the year, such as partner tricks. We will also spend time putting dance steps before and after our tricks, learning about the integration of dance and acrobatic skills – all while having lots of fun! All students should be prepared to learn new skills based on their readiness, which means while some will work on beginner tricks, others who are ready for intermediate tricks like front walkovers and back walkovers will practice those tricks with spots. Acrobatic Dance is a dance practice that teaches strength, flexibility, and balance in order to push dance to the limits of possibility, incorporating acrobatic skills into choreography.
Please wear a leotard and biker shorts or a bikertard with hair in a ponytail and acro shoes. No 2-piece outfits will be allowed!
