This is a class designed specifically for the serious dancer who wishes to perfect and refine their skills of turning, jumping, and leaping. These classes are taught with an emphasis on technique and correct body placement. Combination classes allow students to try two styles in a one hour time frame. These classes focus on basic and introductory fundamentals, techniques, and terminology of ballet and tap with the use of creative movement, activities, and games to enhance cognitive and social development and learn classroom etiquette.

Dress code: dancers must wear a leotard and tights or a dance dress and tights. Hair must be in a bun or ponytail. Dancers must have both pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

This is an advanced class. Several years of prior ballet training is required. Dancers must have advanced knowledge of ballet vocabulary, ability to execute advanced ballet skills, musical abilities and the ability to learn choreography in 1 or 2 demonstrations by the instructor. If your dancer is not ready for this class, ballet 3 is recommended, regardless of dancer’s age.
Dress Code: students must wear their hair in a proper ballet bun. Please no braids, ponytails or “messy” buns. Dancers must also wear a leotard, tights and ballet shoes. A ballet skirt is optional. No biker shorts, yoga pants or baggy shirts.

Dress code: hair must be in a ballet bun. Dancers must wear a leotard with tights, or jazz/ yoga pants. No baggy T-shirts. Tan jazz shoes are required as well.

Typically for ages 11-14. At least 2 years of prior dance experience is needed. Here is a list of pre- requisite skills to be in this class:
Splits, solid double pirouette, chaine turns, soutache in full split (split leap), Russian leaps, knowledge of intermediate dance vocabulary, ability to pick up choreography in 2 or 3 demonstrations. If your dancer is not ready for this class, jazz 1/2 is recommended regardless of age
